Highly recommend to anyone in the area. Great food and even better staff.
What guests say about La Petite Cachée
La Petite Cachée receives mostly very positive reviews for its warm, rustic atmosphere, as well as for service often described as impeccable, attentive, and welcoming. Several customers also highlight delicious, well-presented cuisine and memorable dishes, with a very good overall impression for a meal in Mont-Tremblant. However, a few reviews mention a drop in quality for some dishes and occasional serious service issues, so the experience can seem inconsistent.

We were very excited to try this place. We rarely go out, so when we do, we hope to get a good experience for our money. They were very courteous and fit us in right at 5pm even though they weren't taking anymore reservations that evening. We ordered the brie appetizer which was very good. My husband had the filet Mignon which was good. I ordered the duck. Something I often do at restaurants because it is different from what we cook at home and usually very tasty and flavourful. I have never had a bad experience with duck at a restaurant before. Our waiter asked me how I wanted it cooked which I thought was curious as that is not something I have ever experienced when ordering duck before, so I hesitated and wanted to order something else, but he stopped me and said it should be okay. I ordered it medium well as I didn't want to risk it being undercooked. It came out inedible. I couldn't even cut through it with a steak knife. I told the waiter and set my plate aside. He left it there the entire meal until everyone else were done eating, never offering to redo it for me or to get something else. After that we asked for the bill. Didn't feel like staying for dessert. The full charge for the meal was also on the bill. $40 for an inedible meal certainly leaves a bad taste in your mouth twice over. The 1 star is for the kids meal which was really good. A full freshly breaded chicken breast for $12. I have never seen my son finish a meal at a restaurant before. The only part of our meal that was actually worth the price.
OMGGGGG!!!! Ommgggg!!! Wow!!! Just had the most amazing linguine pasta ever!! Wow!! 10/10 totally recommend. Excellent food, excellent service!
Restaurant only deserves 3 stars. Party of 8. Food was cold, fish a bit undercooked and dishes lack vegetables. For 130$ excluding tip for two without alcool, you can find better restaurants. Duck was just ok. $42 for a bit of duck, fancy sauce, mashed potatoes and a few carrots hmmm. We have a case of being in Mont-Tremblant and resting on your laurels! meal included 2 creme caramel, which were good.
Annie is the best server, she was so supportive and knowledgeable. She gave us food recommendations with delicious wine pairings. The food was amazing and I had go pause between each bite to savor it
Absolutely delicious! We had a lovely meal and will definitely return.
Simply excellent approach to charming restarant. Ambience is soft and relaxed. Seems most tables are properly Placed to enjoy your deliciously prepared dishes. I personally tried the foie gras and fillet mignon and I was completely Satisfied with both . Dishes were well plated and flavors well balanced. Happy that I found this Restarant on short notice . Good work! We will be back
We came as a large group. The food for the main dish was lacking flavor but overall was well cooked. The best item by far was the califlower soup which was amazing. The staff was friendly and made sure we were well taken care of.
Fantastic - wanted to get out of the resort for some better food and this didn’t disappoint, 5 mins away, lovely team, fantastic food and drink. Highly recommend.
Best place in Mt Tremblant
Went for our honeymoon dinner and we had a excellent time. Atmosphere was great. Beautiful space and the food was excellent! Tuna Tataki was our fav dish for sure.
What a great experience. From the moment you walk in you're treated like family. The interior is rustic yet modern, with an upscale log cabin vibe along with a wood burning fireplace. The staff are warm, personable, and will take the time to understand your preferences. The french onion soup was incredibly flavourful, and the duck breast was a excellent take on classic French Canadian cuisine. If you're coming to Mont Tremblant, this place absolutely needs to be on your list!
Extremely tasty! A gem of a restaurant. Expensive but worth the price!
By far, the best restaurant in Tremblant! The ambiance is great and the service was spot on. The filet mignon was quite tender and succulent and the ribs had an amazing flavour, and the tuna tartare was outstanding. Highly recommended!!
Another place we always visit during ski week. Lovely ambience, delicious food. Very charming.
Great food, excellent service. Warm and cozy.
Really good food and ambiance
During our dinner, our server and other staff repeatedly interrupted us, creating a stressful and poorly coordinated service. When we paid, the server closely watched the tipping screen and questioned why we selected a 10% tip. Tipping is not mandatory, and no customer should ever be pressured or interrogated about it. The situation became unacceptable when she said to us:“Is that how you do it in your country?” This was a xenophobic and discriminatory remark that made us feel disrespected and singled out based on perceived origin. We live in Toronto and should never have been spoken to this way. When we raised this with the manager, instead of properly addressing the discrimination, we were told that 15% is “the minimum” in Québec, which is incorrect and dismissive of what had just happened.
We made a reservation two months in advance for a Friday night to celebrate our friend’s birthday. The place still has that cool, chalet-style vibe and the service was genuinely great. The wine list is impressive, especially the local selections. Unfortunately, the food fell short this time. The risotto was mushy, the tomahawk was undercooked twice—even after clearly requesting medium both times—and the sauce was missing. The scallops were elastic and lacked flavor. On the positive side, the corn and onion soup were outstanding. Our server was incredibly kind and took the tomahawk off the bill, which we appreciated. This was our second visit, and compared to last year, the quality has dropped significantly. We were so satisfied before, so I might give them another chance next year, but I’d likely explore other options first.
Amazing food Amazing service Amazing atmosphere
Delicious meal, excellent service and cozy atmosphere. A must visit in the area!
Excellent restaurant, very good food, clean, log building look, with a nice wood smell inside, plank flooring (no carpeting). Highly recommended.
