I’ve been coming here for a while and always enjoy it, but tonight was something else. It was busy but manageable- four groups ahead of us, two employees. We placed a simple order (two soft serves) with the older French man… and then waited over 35 minutes. The other employee, a woman (who deserves a medal), was doing everything: clarifying orders, making them, handling cash, and keeping up with a growing line. Meanwhile, her coworker stood there scribbling orders onto post-it notes, letting them stack up, and obsessively cleaning the blender. No exaggeration, he cleaned the blender AT LEAST 12 times…That’s it…. Orders piled up, customers waited endlessly, and she was left running the entire shop alone while he contributed virtually nothing. At one point, he even looked annoyed when she used the blender he had just cleaned…during a rush… We left without our order. Honestly, I’ve never seen someone work so hard to avoid being helpful. We won’t be back if he’s working, not because of the ice cream, but because watching that was painful.
