I don’t like writing a negative review and would usually opt to not say anything, but my wife and I were very disappointed. The bagels were dry and pretty bland and the salmon and avocado bagel was also just very bland. There was a bit of horseradish on there but one slice of fish and one slice of avocado for that price is insane. The staff were helpful though. In short: Very pricey for the quality and am surprised to see all of the high reviews.

First encounter with Montreal bagel. Not as chewy as the American counterparts (yet, it's been a long time since a real New York bagel). Crunchy, a lot more than the one I am used to, or I bake. These have a distinct hint of sweetness. Surprisingly light. I loved it.

If you’re anywhere near Montreal and love fresh bagels, you need to stop at La Fabrique de Bagel de Montréal. The bagels were incredibly fresh, perfectly chewy, and packed with flavour. The owner is engaging and friendly and absolutely worth the visit. THE best bagel spot I’ve tried in Montreal. I’ll definitely be back!

“I’m very disappointed. None of the staff were wearing gloves while handling the food, and the employee prepared my bagel with bare hands. It felt very unhygienic.”

A person wearing gloves may think their hands are clean, but that is not necessarily the case — gloves are often not changed frequently enough and can become more contaminated than hands that are washed properly. Our team follows strict and regular handwashing protocols throughout the day, in accordance with Quebec's health and safety standards. This is a practice that is widely recognized by food safety experts as more reliable and more professional than relying on gloves. I absolutely love it here! Each time I have visited Montreal, I have come here and the food is delicious and fresh, coffee is just righttt, and service is amazing!! Greeted so kindly every time, especially without being able to speak french, the owner of this shop is an absolute gem✨ 100% a must visit when you are in the city

One of the best bagels we’ve ever had—absolutely worth it! The bagels were fresh, warm, and perfectly chewy with that classic Montreal flavor. You can really taste the difference when they’re made fresh. The service was quick and friendly too. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Montreal!
