Amazing service and support from the staff to make my wife and I's special day memorable, specifically concerning my wife's mother, the help with my wife's wedding bouquet, and the coordination of the event. Very attentive to details surrounding execution of the event. We loved the appetizers and drinks during the cocktail prior to the meal service. The views were magnificent thanks to the large windows of the Soprano room. A few points for improvement: Coordination between all parties involved in the organization of the wedding: coordinator, minister and DJ. Information needed to be shared multiple times to all parties because of a lack of communication between them. A Zoom call together would have been nice to make sure everyone is on the same page. A plan of the grounds: as we were organizing from a distance because of transport issues keeping us from visiting, this would have given us a better idea of the size of the venue and site of the wedding ceremony. We got to the venue on the big day early at 10:00, but couldn't set up until 11:00. We were under the impression that we could set up early, but unfortunately this wasn't the case. I attribute this to a simple misunderstanding of what our expectations were in this regard. Certain details changed throughout the day, but these were minor and promptly addressed by staff. We really appreciated all the support and friendliness of the staff in making this momentous day memorable. Overall exceptional. Thank you Louis and Cathy!

My friend got married here last August and could not have been happier with the venue! It looked so much better on the day of than when I went to tour it previously. The staff and wedding coordinator Maurice from Omega Design were a joy to work with and so organized on the day of. We also had some thunderstorms rolling through on the wedding day, and the staff did an excellent job of monitoring the rain and even setting up for an indoor ceremony in case our outdoor ceremony got rained on. We ended up still being able to have it outdoors, but it was nice to have the peace of mind that in case it did rain at the last minute, the indoor space was already set up for us. The food was great, the ballroom very spacious for our group of 130, and the outdoor balcony was a great space for our guests to get a breath of fresh air or hang out away from the dance floor. Would 100% recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about La Distinction! From the moment we booked our wedding until the very end of our wedding day, the entire experience exceeded every expectation we had. Our guests were absolutely in awe of the stunning grounds and beautiful venue. We received so many compliments throughout the day about how gorgeous everything was and how professional, friendly, and attentive the staff were. What impressed us most was how seamlessly the entire day unfolded. Every detail had been thoughtfully planned, and the staff worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. We never had to worry about a thing—they anticipated every need and made sure we could simply enjoy every moment with our family and friends. A very special thank you goes to Geneviève. She is truly incredible! She patiently answered my countless emails, attended team meetings, and responded to what felt like a million questions with kindness, professionalism, and reassurance every single time. Her organization, attention to detail, and genuine care made the entire planning process so much less stressful. On the wedding day, everything was taken care of exactly as promised, and that was all thanks to her dedication and hard work. We are forever grateful to Geneviève and the entire La Distinction team for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. If you're looking for a venue with breathtaking grounds, exceptional service, and a team that genuinely cares about making your day unforgettable, look no further. We would choose La Distinction again in a heartbeat!

I had a great experience with La Distinction! Amélie was such a pleasure to work with. She was always kind, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. The food was delicious and received lots of compliments from our guests. I would absolutely recommend this company and especially Amélie to anyone looking for excellent catering services.

DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! My biggest regret with my wedding this year was booking with this company. The total lack of professionalism on the wedding day was ridiculous. We booked our wedding through La Distinction and rented the La Seigneurie site. Here are the list of things this company completely screwed up. I am issuing a formal complaint as well due to the serious amount of money we spent to have the wedding of our dreams, treated like crap by this place. - Charging for access the night before when there was no staff or anyone in the venue to help. -The morning of no staff on hand to help -Windows left open overnight, an animal got in and ate some of the decorations. -The hall was COVERED in little piles of dead bugs. No one from La Distinction bothered to clean anything for the wedding. -We pilled all the extra chairs in the ceremony area at the back of the room and at the last minute we had to ask the staff to remove since they were left there. -The cocktail hour area upstairs was full of bird feces. AGAIN, no one there to clean it. -While I was getting ready (the bride) in the suite La Distinction sent one of their coordinators to do a “walk through” with another newly engaged couple. I asked them to leave, the coordinator told me it was "the best time to show a venue to a perspective client". I received NO warning, NO headsup from anyone. It was so disrespectful. Multiple people had to ask them to leave. They took their sweet time, continuing to look around after being asked MULTIPLE TIMES to leave. -We requested a table be put next to the brides table prior to the event starting for the cake and it was never done. After asking multiple times. -We went with the venues DJ (Larry Beatz) who was impossible to deal with. We had to ask several times for a Mic to be set up upstairs. We kept the guests in a “holding area” until he finally came to set up AFTER the start time of the wedding. During the ceremony, the DJ never played previously agreed upon songs for the wedding. There was an assigned song for the signing of the marriage license, not played. No song played for the bride and groom's exit either. This lead to the entire ending of the ceremony to be screwed up and guest just got up and we never got to walk back down the aisle. -The table for the photographer was not set up and once reminded they forgot to serve them meals. -After the ceremony there was the cocktail hour and a preset schedule. Guest had to go into the venue for the washroom and the bar which should be better handled by staff as an hour before the doors were to open everyone was already seated. No staff in sight to control guest flow. - I spent much time creating an extremely detailed binder to give to the staff for the night, this ensured the flow of the night went correctly. After being approached MULTIPLES TIMES, i asked, where is the binder? All of the questions you are asking are in said binder. To which I was told "oh yes the binder is amazing very helpful". I realized then that no one was actually looking at the premade schedule since all of the questions I was being asked could be found in what I gave them. -The tables with dietary restrictions had to question every plate in front of them as they kept getting them incorrect. -The children were supposed to be served chicken nuggets. Nope, they got the high end meals that quite frankly are not for kids and not what was agreed upon. -Guest requested coffee after desert and were told there was no more hot water therefore it was not possible. It took over an hour to find a solution. Cold water + stove= hot water. But it was the end of the world for the kitchen staff to find a solution. -The midnight bar was served and the kitchen staff were caught MULTIPLE TIMES, sticking their hands through the curtain making plates for themselves. This was food we payed for, for our GUESTS! Not for the staff to be reaching for at the same time a guest is trying to make a plate. The list of complaints goes much further than this unfortunately

We had the perfect wedding day. The service we received from the staff was impeccable, the food was great, the venue was beautiful and any need we had was met promptly by the team. Our DJ (multizone) was easy to work with and all of our guests said they had an unforgettable experience. Cathy, you did such a good job walking us through the planning process from start to finish, and all of our meetings with you were a pleasure. As a newlywed couple we would like to say Thank you to everyone at La Distinction who helped make our day as memorable as it was.
