I chose this restaurant after doing a lot of research on Google, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, but what I received was more like a basic sub-style sandwich (similar to Subway), not an authentic Philly cheesesteak. The meat quality and overall preparation did not meet expectations. The fries were also disappointing—soft and seemed old. I asked for a replacement, but the second batch was the same. When I asked for an explanation about the dish, the staff tried to justify it, but did not really address my concerns about the quality and ingredients. Overall, the experience did not match the reviews I had read. I hope they can improve their food quality and consistency.
Reviews / Ratings for La Diable - Microbrasserie
Today we ate at this restaurant and ordered a Philly cheesesteak. What we received, however, was a $28 sandwich with quality comparable to Subway. Even worse, the French fries were clearly stale and very low quality. At the end of the meal, the person who came to collect payment aggressively demanded a $10 tip. When we asked to speak with the restaurant manager, he claimed that he himself was the manager. His behavior was extremely rude and unacceptable. He refused to acknowledge that the food was different from what we ordered and continued to insist on the tip. I am truly disappointed for the owner of this restaurant for not supervising the staff and maintaining food quality. I hope this message leads to serious improvements in this establishment.
Excellent
Nice place to eat, drink and watch game or whatever, good options of food.
Friendly Staff. Big portions for a fair price, given the location! Good pub food in a friendly environment. They greet and serve with a smile. The saying it filters down from the top, David, the Manager, proves that! Pay attention to the beer mats on the ceiling. You might recognise one or two, even if you haven't travelled globally. Quite something.
La Diable has been a staple for years! As a local, it is one of my favourite places of all time and a big part of that is because of the almost service. Alex is awesome and a true professional at his job. Not only does he remember my order but can provide recommendations of drinks I will like and he’s always spot on. Seriously, best bartender ever.
We recently visited La Diable with a table full of young kids. To their credit, we were seated very quickly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. Despite being seated early, the tables around us, many of whom arrived after we did, were consistently served before us. At first my wife and I joked about it, but as it kept happening, it became increasingly frustrating. With hungry kids at the table, watching other groups receive their food and start eating while we were still waiting was a tough experience. That’s the kind of thing that turns a meal into a problem very quickly. The atmosphere leans heavily toward a bar or pub vibe, which is fine if that’s what you’re expecting. The food, however, didn’t make up for the service issues. The French onion soup was genuinely inedible. It looked like watered-down broth with a small blob of cheese floating in the middle. The burger was average at best and nothing memorable. I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but this was a very disappointing experience overall. Service consistency matters, especially when you’re dining with children, and this fell well short.
Great sausages and beer 👍🏻
I had a very disappointing experience at La Diable Brewpub last night. The bartender, Alex (I think his name is), was incredibly rude from the moment we walked in—no smile, no welcoming attitude, and he came across as arrogant, entitled, and completely unprofessional. He actually refused to serve my 60 year old mother because he assumed she was with another woman who had only tipped a small amount for two beers. Not only was that assumption wrong, but even if it were true, refusing service over a tip is unacceptable. The level of entitlement in expecting more while providing such poor service was honestly shocking. We visit Tremblant once a year and always look forward to it, and this time we brought new people with us. It was embarrassing and frustrating to have our experience ruined like this. Very disappointing. We won’t be returning as long as he’s working there.
Friendly, bilingual staff, great food at a good price
awesome beer selection
Delicious food, good beer and service, and nice vibe !!
When you're coming down the mountain after a day of skiing, this place is perfect! Good food, great beer, and a welcoming atmosphere! An Italian family on vacation
A great place to eat, little bit of a wait, but we didn't need a reservation. Staff were all pleasant and organized to get people seated as soon as tables were open. We weren't sure if it was going to be bar food, but were pleasantly surprised. The food was so much more than we expected and well worth the wait! We ordered the Saute au Poulet over linguini and it was over the top impressive in presentation (see image) and flavour! The Burger De La Diable was filling and was so good we ordered another to take away. Service was good and prices were reasonable for Mont Tremblant. The Bar was a bit loud but we could still hold a conversation at our table. Decor was pleasing and the layout was tight, but the flow was pretty good. I highly recommend La Diable! We will definitely return on our next trip!
Had some delicious poutine here! A relatively unique style, where they use peppercorn gravy. It was my first time trying something like that, and it didn’t disappoint! Perfect after a long day of skiing 😋
My fish burger was $28 and I was served large amount of food. Fish and chips was yummy. The burgers are huge, comes with large amount of fries, and the ribs are so big. Easy going, casual restaurant that is family friendly.
Great beer and generous portions, but they missed the mark on the steak—it was overcooked.
We ate here twice on our 1 week visit. Great portions and lively atmosphere.
Tries ribs and bison burger. Exquisite. Would definitely recommend. Merci
Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Creative burgers as well as deserts. Beers to highlight as well. We loved it!
For Tremblant this was great chill pub. Exactly what you'd expect but better food than many pubs, and thank goodness for that. Pricey, but not bad for Tremblant at all.
Perfect Apres-ski or anytime vibe. Great microbrews and the food is fantastic. Outside of Philly this was the best Philly sandwich I've ever had.
Best food on the hill for lunch, great prices for tramblant. We got the pulled pork natchos and so yummy great portions lots of cheese on them. My sister for the French onion soup and said it was great.
Didn’t get to try the food this time so can’t comment on that, but the beers are good/average. Service was fast.
Good god the food was FANTASTIC. My server (forgot what his name was but was a gem), recommended to me the Swiss sausage and the sausage of the day, this venison one and both were 10/10. Really large portions for a decent price all in. I think I ended up paying $40 for a French onion soup, beer, and the sausage meal. Really good value. Also the French onion soup here was FANTASTIC!!!! Good god the cheese pull was to die for. Seasoned perfectly. Also again our waiter was lovely. The man was always checking in on us and offering us the BEST recommendations. Would definitely come here again.
