This place was filled with what appeared to be with the locals and that was itself a good sign as we entered. The food was good and had a very home made feel to it. The staff were very warm. The place was very cozy. Overall an experience I highly recommend to people visiting Quebec City to step out of the Vieux-Quebec tourist spots.

La Cuisine is such a hidden gem. The ambiance is warm and cozy, it really makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. The food is always fresh and full of flavor. Definitely a must try if you’re looking for a relaxing dining experience.

We arrived in Quebec late at night and were looking for a light meal near our hotel, so we decided to stop here. Despite the cold and snowy weather outside, the restaurant felt warm, cozy, and stylish inside. We didn’t have any drinks and only ordered soup and a salad, but the staff kindly took the time to translate and explain the French menu to us, which we truly appreciated. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I would definitely love to come back again.
