My wife and I arrived after 9pm and were seated promptly by our waiter, Raphael. He provided exceptional bilingual service all night. We don’t speak French, and he helped us with the French-only menu, even suggesting we use AI to translate it, which worked perfectly. We ordered the grilled octopus and the lamb, paired with Raphael’s French red wine recommendation, and finished with tiramisu and coffee. The portions and quality exceeded our expectations. The service and dining experience were both positive and satisfying. Thank you, Raphael, for making it a memorable night for us!

Classy restaurant, great food , friendly staff, was easily able to translate the menu , went for a family dinner , had escargot and seafood . Great quality for a family event.

Amazing service Charles was so accommodating and helpful. I went by myself with 3 kids and he had so much patient. The food the best i ever ate quality, taste, freshness….worth every penny. I will be back and you can not go wrong. YOU HAVE TO COME YOU WONT REGRET!!!!

We stayed in Quebec City for a few days and, like most tourists, visited quite a few restaurants in the Old Town. However, none of them can compare to Bistro La Cohue. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the octopus appetizer, the lamb rack, and the duck with foie gras. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented to the highest standard. The interior is very pleasant and elegant, there is an excellent selection of wines, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The level of service was truly outstanding. We will definitely return to Bistro La Cohue the next time we are in Quebec City, and we will gladly recommend it to our friends!

One of the best in town! The lamb chop with amazing cooking and combination. And kids meal with steak filet in a very good value and the chef cook it so good.

The best dinner I’ve ever had. I had the duck trilogy and it was absolutely amazing. The sauce was unlike anything I’ve ever had and it complemented the meat so well. It felt like I was eating a piece of heaven. I would totally come back every night if I could. Our waitress was excellent too. Since we didn’t speak French, she translated everything in the fullest detail. I want to give that chef a handshake. 12/10 experience.

We had a great mid-afternoon early dinner at La Cohue. Our server was very kind and attentive explaining to us the menu with our very limited French. The Beef croquet appetizer was very tasty as was the bread , the main dishes all unique, delicious and presented with skill and care. The Alaska Bomb for desert was amazing with various textures and a crispy and creamy meringue simply stunning. A meal to remember.

Burrata was superb, you will not be disappointed. Great culinary delights in a hidden gem. Lots of free parking definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I went there in june 2024 and was Very impressed. I tried Foie Gras, Riz de Vaux and Boudin Noire. No such a thing here in North Carolina. Just a great place as real good restaurants used to be in Quebec in the 1980-1990. Comming back June 2026 and this is the first place we will hit. I plan to go at least twice as long Carney doesn't shut it down.

I went to this bistro today and had a great experience. I ordered the salmon tartare and it was delicious, with a good portion size that was just enough to feel satisfied. What really stood out was the service. Our waiter, I think his name was Massi, was amazing : super friendly, attentive and made the experience even better. Great food and great service. I’d definitely come back.
