This was my first time there. Before I was finished my entré, the waitress came to the table and asked if I was finished with, obviously I was not but I let her take it anyways, the when we received our meal, I was not even half through my plate and while I got up to take my granddaughter, she comes over and asked if she should let me finish my meal!! Never asked us if we wanted anything else or a desert. We reserved for 2:00pm and she was pushing us out by 3:00pm. The restaurant was not at all busy. I am very unsatisfied.

La Cochonne Rit absolutely lives up to the name, I left laughing, smiling, and very full. The service was top-notch: friendly, sharp, and perfectly timed without hovering like a nervous helicopter parent. The steak selection is a carnivore’s dream. Dry-aged cuts staring at you from the fridge like, “pick me.” I went with the cowboy steak, and it was a glorious slab of beef cooked exactly right, juicy, rich, and big enough to make me briefly consider canceling my gym membership. And dessert… the cheesecake. Sweet mercy. Creamy, balanced, and drizzled in caramel goodness that made conversation stop at the table. Forks only moved faster. Great food, great service, great vibe. My only complaint? My belt now hates me.
