We were in a group of 14 (sorry!) and Sonia took such such amazing care of us, kept us all set up with drinks and apps and good tacos with so much sweetness. Got the fish tacos and they were just the right amount of food. Sonia sorted out all our bills in the end with so much grace. Also incredible nails!

We booked catering with La Capital Tacos at least 6 weeks ahead of my daughter's quinceañera. The communication was solid, and they offered to deliver at an extra cost (we were outside their delivery zone) at the time of our choice. I asked for the delivery to be thirty minutes before guests arrived, since I figured my hands would be full once they did. Once guests started arriving, I realized the tacos hadn't arrived yet. We were worried the delivery driver had difficulty finding the entrance. My boyfriend tried calling and had to prove to them that there was a catering order by sending them our receipt. They FORGOT WE HAD MADE THE ORDER. Later, they called in the middle of the ceremony to say that the food would be delivered in an hour. My boyfriend ended up standing outside for something like half an hour to meet up with the delivery guy, who was just someone they had hired through Uber. Long story short, they sent the order to a different place a few blocks away and my boyfriend had to argue with the driver on the phone to get him to arrive. By the time the tacos arrived, my guests had already eaten dinner (chili). La Capital sent us a couple of extra desserts and a "So sorry! :) " note on of the trays. I don't think they're aware of how badly they impacted what should have been a very meaningful night. That being said, we had lots of leftovers that were pretty good the following days. The hongos made a good vegetarian alternative.

They keep removing all the vegetarian options 😭 we used to go all the time because they were the one Mexican restaurant with actually cool vegan/vegetarian options, but now they’ve removed 2/3 of them and have only one option of mushrooms. The tinga ones were so good! And the soyrizo was at least a good unique option. Every vegetarian can make mushroom tacos, so it’s honestly not worth going anymore. A real shame as I really miss it and was a great spot to bring a group with diverse dietary preferences

Hi Gabrielle. We will bring back the soyrizo one. It’s only because it was not easy to make it because we where missing à cutting machine ti make the very small . The tonga we use to love it too, but the supplier from Ontario close the shop and the only options was a from I think china and the products was not good enough to serve it to our caliente. . First they had three vegetarian options which all tasted amazing, then two which is still a reasonable amount, and finally one. But at least there was still one and the flavour made up for it. Of course when I finally take my friends over for dinner, the one vegetarian option had run out for the night, leaving me with nothing to eat. Truly unfortunate to see.

I was told this was the best tacos in Montreal… Unfortunately, they were greasy yet dry and crunchy and pretty much tasteless, the coriander did ALL the heavy lifting!!! Avoid the al pastor tacos

Best shrimp 🦐 (Rosarito) tacos I have eaten in a while (I used to live in Ensenada, Baja California). Very friendly and fast service. A little noisy but perfect to have a beer, mojito, paloma, etc. and some tacos with friends or family. 👍👍

This is a pleasant quick restaurant for amazing tacos. On suggestion I had the rum, lime and Mexican cola (made with sugar cane) and for my meal the Shrimp Tacos. Three tacos were more than enough for me. The shrimps were huge and one shrimp filled the taco. Cabbage, chipotle mayo and guacamole. Truly enjoyed them. Prices were reasonable.

This place is very busy and usually has a wait so prepare yourself. I was lucky enought that the wait was only a couple minutes. They do their best to seat people and gives bills to those who have been there a while. Drinks are great and a wild selections and tacos were also delicious.
