Great spot, stumbled upon this spot and were not disappointed. Had the best butterfly prawns and the freshest fish and chips. Absolutely recommend to visit and enjoy a meal here.

Wonderful place to stop and eat. I ate outside on the picnic tables where I was able to see the great view of their dock and where the water opens up to the sea. I ordered “délicieuse au homard” which is basically a club sandwich but with lobster instead of chicken.

Waited 45 mins for food. Ordered at 1pm. After 25 minutes I asked if it would be much longer. The lady told me it would be soon - empty words as she didn't bother to check with the kitchen. After asking again at 35 minutes and voicing our displeasure, we were told again that "we should buy a 649 ticket if we get it in the next 10 minutes", and "if we aren't happy we can go somewhere else". They obviously did not submit the food ticket to the kitchen and only did so after we followed up the second time. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability is the main problem. The food was decent, not amazing, but good. I'm sure they typically give good service, but they have no idea how to handle customer dissatisfaction.

First of all, i recommend getting a reservation since i believe that otherwise you wont be able to dine. The food was honestly okay, could have been better. I had a poutine with shrimps and honestly i do not recommend it to other people, the sauce was the only thing in the poutine that was even close to being called warm, the cheese was really cold, almost like its seriously just came out of the fridge and for the appetizer i got little to no comments can be done about it. 6/10, would go only if theres something to be celebrated.

We stopped for lunch and were extremely pleased with La Capitainerie. My wife had the lobster roll and I had the seafood chowder special. They were both terrific. I highly recommend this place. Good prices, great service and wonderful food. Talk about fresh, the fishing boats are parked out front. We had our dog with us and were able to sit on the veranda. Lots of parking. Located right on the St. Lawrence, just off the highway. The artisanal red ale was terrific.

Absolutely beautiful little food stop along 132, the owner was so nice and friendly, I would recommend this stop to anyone along the way. Easy trailer parking, great food and a stunning view.

Lunch was lovely here! Very nice people, and open all-day during off-season. We ordered the poutine deux souers and the lobster club sandwich (house specialty). Both very tasty!
