Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered 2 fish boxes for pickup and paid $40, but the portions were ridiculously small, with only about 4 5 pieces in each box. The food was overpriced, the value was awful, and the Coke was warm. I left feeling completely ripped off and disappointed. This was a huge waste of money, and I will never come back. I do not recommend this place at all."

I bought a tiffin from Punjab Canteen (the Queen Mary / Décarie location) today because I was short on time to cook. I ordered the Rajma and Kadi Pakoda. What a massive mistake. The Rajma was completely spoiled. It was literally smelling weird, sour, and completely unhealthy. It was highly unsafe for consumption. But as bad as the food was, their customer service and attitude are even worse. When I called the restaurant to inform them, the person who picked up the phone immediately got defensive and dismissed my concern, saying, "We sold a lot today, you can come back and show us." As if I have nothing better to do than waste my time and traveling back to their store to prove that their food is rotten! It gets even more laughable. The girl at the counter actually tried to justify the rancid taste by saying, "We put masalas and... we put chaat masala in our rajma." WHO THE HELL PUTS CHAAT MASALA WHILE COOKING RAJMA?! Don't try to pretend spoiled food is just "extra spices." Then, she had the audacity to say she would "show me the receipts" of how many they sold today. I don't care if you sold a thousand plates, the batch I received was garbage. It’s not like I don't know how Rajma is supposed to taste, and it’s not my first time eating it. This kind of completely unapologetic, unprofessional behavior is completely intolerable. They wasted my money, my time, and left me without a proper meal. I will NEVER eat here again, and I am highly recommending that everyone else stay far away from this place. They clearly do not care about hygiene, and they definitely do not care about their customers. Save your money and your health go somewhere else!
