Good food and a nice time! Visit on Fri/Sat evenings for their 3$ tequila shots. Highly recommend their cauliflower and chickpea tacos that are vegetarian and gluten-free. The shredded chicken fried taco was also good.

I loved La Cantina! The service and atmosphere were great, and the food was delicious. I would definitely come back here if I'm in the area again!

Me and my friends were on our visit to Montreal and wanted to grab food and drinks. Saw this place, looked nice but as soon as we came they saw us and just straight up said they can’t serve us. I guess ppl working their judge people by looks or something?! The place literally had just couple of ppl dining there, it was dead. Instead of apologizing, the manager (i assume) just left is some snarky comment on our way out just cuz we said that it does look dead and not overbooked like they made it seem lol. Never seen such a bad customer service.

It’s likely a mix-up with another restaurant, as there are establishments with similar names that are not located near us. We’re near Peel Metro in downtown Montréal and pride ourselves on welcoming all guests with friendly, respectful service. We visited for the 5 à 7 Happy Hour before a concert. Service was prompt, despite there only being one server and the restaurant being busy. The drinks were great, and the portions were decent for the prices.

Omg by far the best Ceviche I’ve tried in Montreal as of yet … and their passionfruit margarita is to die for. Thank you for such a nice experience.

The quality of the food was impressive. We tried the chicharon, sopa Azteca, tacos dorados et churros. The meat of every dish was great and juicy! The decoration is nice and the ambiance is good.

Rather disappointed. We needed a quick stop before heading out of town. Ordered fish tacos, chicken quesadilla and a 330ml beer. Food positives: juicy chicken quesadilla. Food negatives: very small portions, bland tacos, minuscule fish (mostly batter). Value: prices are high for what it is (e.g. beer was $10). Ambiance: cute little place, but do not expect privacy. Service: slow, we were charged twice for one beer --- bill was voided and reissued after calling attention to the mistake, but not even an "I'm sorry." Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

Overall experience is amazing!!! Food and drinks are excellent!!! Tried the mango margarita and passion fruit margarita 🍹 sooooo good!!!!!
