Went there yesterday. I tapped my card for 55 and change. Transaction went thru but they told me that it didn't work so I paid 55$ first transaction+ 65$ for 2 poutines 2 cheese burgers. I am gonna go pay those people a visit today. Nobody will steal from me. 55$ that's a lot for that kind of food.
What guests say about La Belle Province
Opinions are very mixed, but the overall trend is rather negative, with several complaints about the service, the staff’s attitude, and cleanliness. Several customers like the poutine and say the portions can be generous, but others find the food ordinary, sometimes overpriced, or poorly prepared. If you’re looking for a quick, classic option, it can do the job, but there are also many comments that do not recommend the place.

The Best Poutine I have ever had! Well,… the only poutine I have ever had. But it was delicious. The service was great, there were plenty of options to choose from, and the size of the portions were massive.
Food disgusting, they don’t wear gloves fries are collected from the trash and then served to people oh and got food poisoning the next day! Definitely doesn’t respect the health inspection!
Very dirty place, only come here if you want food poisoning. My girlfriend is vomiting from eating there and i feel like vomiting too. Also we saw a cook drop a hot dog on the floor and put it back in the bag for a customer to eat…
Very disappointing experience. I ordered something specific, but the employee put in whatever she wanted instead of actually listening to my order. On top of that, the hot dogs were extremely greasy and didn’t taste fresh at all. Definitely not worth spending money at a place that doesn’t even give you what you asked for.
This used to be a good place. But has gone downhill especially with management screaming at their staff... I thought it was a one off until I went a few days later and it was the same attitude while customers are trying to eat. If you have issues with your staff.. then resolve it under closed doors.
Very good food. They are open until 4:00 AM on the 31st night. Everyone should try!
I ordered a poutine, gave a tip. I came back to ask for a glass of water. They wanted me to buy a bottle of water. I asked for an empty glass so i can use the fountain, they said no. I will never come back.
Uncomfortable experience when I tried buying food but changed my mind when I couldn't afford the final price. I chose a cheaper option and the cooks started getting worked up and picking on the nice cashier girl, poking her in the sides saying its too late to change the order when I hadn't even paid before changing my mind.
The smoked meat here used to be amazing. Mine had a nasty hair in it, they made me a new one the meat was half grey in colour and the texture was off. Took two bites and threw the rest out. Please make the effort to make this place like it was.
Good food. Poutine was tasty. But the main chef was rude.. There wasn't any staff cleaning table for next customers
Everything was clean and organized.
Classic, speedy, and satisfying. Me and my review partner both had 2 all dressed steamies, and they were exactly how you would imagine them to be. We had a playful and fun conversation with the brunette cashier and overall loved the service. (19/27) quintessential Montreal. P.S. the 27 rating scale represents the 27 aspects of a great meal.
The poutine sauce had a jello like texture unlike gravy. I'm not sure how they messed that up. Overall poor, would not recommend.
place feels very impatient even on off-peak, 'quickness first' is not a good philosophy, especially for potatoes; got semi-cooked fries, completely killed my appetite
I didn’t have much confidence in this place as I walked in. I got the feeling that it was not clean. When I saw the staff preparing food and handling it with their bare hands I was thoroughly disgusted. To add to the cringe, one of the men behind the counter was being very handsy with the woman taking the orders. She too was handling food with her bare hands after touching the cash register. The hot dog and fries I ordered were nothing special. I was glad I had no onions or coleslaw in mine as the staff was using their bare hands to put those on the hot dogs.
good take out poutine
Awesome poutine and pogos. Friendly service
I’m am currently standing outside the front door of this establishment. They have not invented words in the English dictionary that can describe how distraught I am at this moment, next to me stands an Uber driver and they refuse to let us in. We’ve been here for 10 minutes and the store only closes in 30 minutes from now. I need to speak to corporate immediately. This is unacceptable behavior and I will not stand for it.
I wanted to get food on thursday at 12:15am, and they said they were open till 1am, i see somebody mopping and pointing the middle finger at me. somebody was delivering for uber, who rating lowers if they don’t, it’s ridiculous. insulting. and i will be insulting
I don’t understand how this place has below 4 star reviews great restaurant. Chef barely speaks English so you know it’s good. Would come back if I ever go to Montreal again.
Absolutely disgusting. Do not order. Shameful.
We ordered cheese burger and chicken and not only weren't they delicious, but also they were so small. Not gonna lie, I couldn't get saturated after eating them.
Excellent poutine!
Rude employees? I don't think so. They were awesome and so was the food. Love it
