I used to love going to this particular Belle Province establishment when it was owned and managed by Angelo, who was very friendly, respectful, and welcoming. In fact, all his employees were also. I tried giving this new management a chance, but the prices went sky high, the food tastes different, the new staff is indifferent, cold, and somewhat arrogant. The only welcoming employee left now seems to be Nico, an older gentleman who is polite and doing his very best, working as fast as he can, despite his age. The last experience with this establishment was having to witness them embarrass him in front of customers on his lack of speed, trying to pass it off as a "joke", which seemed more of a disrespectful and arrogant attitude towards an older employee who has been working there for a VERY long time and who deserves to be treated with respect. Made the situation very awkward for everyone. From the non-chalant cashier, to employees being ridiculed, the prices hiked up with mediocre tasting food, it's surprising that people in the neighborhood are still going there. I was disturbed by the "joking" treatment done towards an older employee who didn't deserve this type of treatment. He might be slower, but at least he has good manners and isn't arrogant. Shame on you!
