We visited Montebello for the weekend and discovered this lovely bakery on the Saturday. We bought tarte au sucre to share, which we forgot it in our hotel room at check out on Sunday. We turned around and retrieved it after driving 45 minutes out of town, and decided to return to La Belle Patissiere for another taste of the amazing looking treats on offer. We bought another tarte au sucre, coffees and some other pastries. While visiting we admired the many accolades the baker has received, and we would agree with all of them! The pastries and pies were incredible and we are so happy we returned a second time on Sunday! I literally devoured this pistachio beauty in less than 30 seconds. We hope to visit Montebello again and will DEFINITELY visit this wonderfully delicious bakery.
