Reviews / Ratings for La Belle & La Boeuf - Burger Bar - Vaudreuil-Dorion
“La Belle et La Bœuf has amazing burgers with really juicy meat and lots of toppings. The atmosphere is fun and lively, perfect for going with friends on a Friday night. The fries and sauces are also really good. A great spot if you love big, flavorful burgers.” 🍔🔥 Great service fast, kind, respectful,
Nick is not a bartender/server. Nick is a hospitality deity temporarily disguised as a man. The way he moves behind the bar? Ballet. Precision. Poetry. Shaking cocktails like he’s summoning ancient spirits (and they answer). I’ve had drinks before, but never a beverage that made me question my life choices in a good way. I ordered a ‘’loot’’ and received emotional closure. He doesn’t just take your order — he reads your aura. Rough day? He already knows. First date? He sets the vibe before you even sit down. Celebrating something? He’s five steps ahead with the perfect recommendation like he curated the menu specifically for your character arc. And the multitasking?? I watched this man run food, pour four drinks, split a bill six ways, comfort a crying girl in the corner, and still make eye contact like you were the only person in the room. I don’t know if he’s caffeinated or divinely appointed. He remembers names. He remembers your usual. He remembers that you hate olives but will tolerate them if you’re trying to be classy. Five stars feels disrespectful. Michelin should invent a new category just for “Nick.” Yelp should simply redirect all searches to his shift schedule. I came for a drink. I left with a renewed faith in humanity and a better understanding of what excellence looks like. If Nick is working, go. If Nick isn’t working, wait.
Hamburger was smashed instead of a normal patty, the chicken tacos were overcooked and dry. Not the same as.Laval.
I booked a table a week in advance for my wife's birthday. The reserved table was placed right at the entrance to the restaurant, which is why I asked for another table. I was refused on the grounds that the other two available tables that were also reserved, were for a group of 8 people, which was just a lie. After 25 minutes, the two tables were occupied by people who did not know each other. I asked for a table in the bar area, but since my son is a minor, we were again refused, which is normal. However, it was not normal to see other minors in the bar area. Since it was my wife's birthday, I asked them to bring us a slice of cake with fireworks. Of course they forgot! Unprofessional. The rezervation was done on Open table web were i mentioned is for a anniversary.
The one thing that ruined our experience was how cold the restaurant was. I was shivering the whole time. There was no heat and every time the front door opened it would get colder. You could not remove your jacket, it was as if we were sitting outside. I find it unacceptable to just expect paying clients to sit in an icebox to eat their food. My food became cold within minutes of arriving. Will definitely not be returning this winter.
This one tall young man instantly welcomed us in and the service was impeccable. The waitress was also amazing always checking up on us. Would definitely recommend to come again it was excellent.
First time trying this restaurant and was really disappointed. Burger meat was bland and toppings tasted very cheap. The meal wasnt hot just room temperature. Ordered also the steak tartar and really dissatisfied. Service was embarrassing, very weak. Whoever owns this chain, please review the staff. I'm not going back neither is my husband.
Great food, friendly service and an enjoyable atmosphere. The cocktail list is comprehensive and very good. The restaurant was a little cold, I would recommend a sweater.
Since owner has changed La belle & la boeuf became terrible, get back the menu and everything as it used to be
Took a long time to get our food even though it was a Sunday and not busy..45 mins. When the food came it was cold and there was a hair in the salad
