I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism my guests and I experienced at the DIX30 location on February 20th was staggering. I specifically booked a 2-hour reservation to enjoy a relaxed evening via the OpenTable platform. Instead, our waiter incessantly badgered us. Even after I explicitly asked him to wait until our third guest arrived, he returned to our table more than five times to push us to order. The back-and-forth was so constant and annoying that I practically had to coach the employee on basic hospitality and firmly tell him to stop interrupting us. When our delayed friend finally did arrive (snow storm), the waiter greeted him with a rude interrogation about why he was late. The absolute lowest point was when I ordered my meal. The waiter made completely inappropriate, judgmental comments about the amount of food I was getting—blatant fat-shaming designed to show off to a neighboring table. We dropped nearly $300 just to feel incredibly uncomfortable, ultimately leaving early to spend the rest of our evening (and money) at an establishment that actually understands hospitality. I gave this team every opportunity to handle the situation privately and professionally. I expressed my concerns on the spot and was brushed off. I followed up with the restaurant by phone three separate times, ignored/forgotten. I escalated through the proper channels via email, only to wait over a month for corporate (Foodtastic) to finally offer an insulting $25 gift card as a "solution" for a ruined night. Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching. Getting basic accountability from this management team shouldn't feel like a part-time job. Don't be fooled by the copy-and-paste responses you see under their other negative reviews claiming they want the "opportunity to make it right." It is nothing but a fake online front. When you actually try to resolve an issue with them behind the scenes, they couldn't care less. It is abundantly clear that this establishment considers this kind of behavior acceptable, and at the end of the day, the customer is the ultimate loser. If you expect basic respect and competent management, take your money elsewhere. *Update as LBELB responded to my review* Their response just proved my point. I arrived at the restaurant on Valentine's day arround 5pm and they said they will put me on a waiting list and will take at least 30 mn .I got back to them at 5:55pm and they said not yet and asked person she told we probably another 20 mn and will call you back.I went waiting in my car and at 6:08pm I look in my phone and I found their number and a missed call at 6:03.I did not see the phone ringing ,while it was in my hand all time ,and I call back at 6:08pm they reply back ,even without saying sorry, since you did not reply we gave it to someone else.They ruined a special day for the family.I will never go back to that restaurant.
Really the most bad service i ever experienced
I’m a big fan of La Belle & La Boeuf in general, but the reason I keep coming back every single Monday to the DIX30 Brossard location is Victoria. She is extremely sweet, kind, and genuinely welcoming every time. Super friendly, attentive, and always helpful — she really makes the whole experience special. It’s rare to find service that makes you feel this comfortable and appreciated as a customer. The food is always great, but the service is what truly keeps me loyal to this location. If you go to LBLB DIX30, ask for Victoria — she’s amazing and makes all the difference. Highly recommended! 🍔🔥
