I went to L’Estancia last Thursday as part of a team-bonding activity with my boss, and I really enjoyed the experience. I ordered the birria tacos, and they were excellent—extremely well made, generously filled, and served in very generous portions. For dessert, I had the tres leches, and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen such a huge portion of tres leches served at a restaurant! It was delicious. Overall, the quality, portion sizes, and prices were excellent. Definitely great value for what you get. I’ll absolutely be coming back, this time with my wife. I already know what I want to try next: the molcajete meat platter. It looked amazing!

I’m from the Southwest (Arizona/San Diego) and I’ve been on the hunt for a good burrito for over a year and I am grateful to say I finally found one! I got the al pastor. It was flavorful and filling. They also served up a side of guac and chips, along with pickled onions and actual spicy salsa. The red was my favorite, but the green and chipotle were delicious too. I’m satisfied and grateful that I no longer have to lament about the hunt for a good burrito! 😋

Enjoy tacos with a variety of flavorful options including steak, chorizo, pastor, chicken, campechano, and vegetarian: all served with fresh toppings and delicious flavors 🤤 Nachos with meat are so yummy and available à la carte and definitely worth trying 🥵 ✨ A must try for a taste of Mexico in Montreal

Cute place for some really good food. Their birria tacos were absolutely delicious and nicely filled, the refried beans were good too; the tortilla chips that came along with it were fresh and crunchy. The service was a little slow, but the employees made up for it by being so friendly and attentive if we needed something or had questions (confirmed that their birria and lamb is halal)

About a month ago, I visited L'Estancia and left a very positive review because I genuinely had a wonderful experience. This time, however, my experience was a bit different. We decided to come back to celebrate Father's Day and brought some friends along because of how much we had enjoyed our first visit. Unfortunately, things didn't go quite as smoothly this time. Our server (I'm not sure if she was the same one from our previous visit) was very serious and somewhat distant. She didn't check on our table very often, and we had to remind her several times about items that had been forgotten, including a coffee that had been ordered right at the beginning of the meal. We also had children with us, who usually just order pancakes for breakfast, but unfortunately pancakes were not available that day, so they had to settle for waffles instead. For my meal, I ordered the "Brunch de la Jefa," which comes with red and green chilaquiles and allows you to add a protein. I chose chicken, but as soon as the dish arrived, I noticed an unpleasant smell coming from the chicken. I couldn't really tell whether it was simply reheated chicken that had been stored for some time or something else, but the smell was strong enough to make me lose my appetite. I didn't want to complain, so I simply removed the chicken from my plate and ate the rest of the dish. The chilaquiles themselves were very flavorful, and both sauces were delicious. The bacon served on the side was tasty as well, although the portion consisted of only two strips, and I think three would have felt more appropriate. We also ordered horchata, but compared to our previous visit, it seemed to lack flavor and wasn't nearly as enjoyable as I remembered. Overall, this visit didn't live up to the excellent first impression we had. I still believe L'Estancia has potential because our first experience was fantastic, but I hope this was just an off day, as consistency is what keeps customers coming back.

Me and my friend took the all you can eat option for 27$(plus tax) and it was absolutely wonderful! You'll definitely get your money worth and leave with your bellys full.

First time here, we came for the "all you can eat taco" service.When we walked into the restaurant, no host came to talk to us so we had to go to the bar to ask for a table (very Latin-American in that way, I guess, nothing really wrong with that).The table was nice but sticky, I don't know why the wood table top was sticky, and the feeling in the arms is weird.Anyways, going to the service, the menu is a choice of 6 types of tacos only. We tried all of them except for the vegan. The meat tacos were pretty dry (beef, chicken and sausage). They were clean and fresh but poorly seasoned. I was expecting more marinated work or something more laborious. We felt like they just drop ingredients into the taco but they didn't interacted in between them. It's hard to describe, pretty much like a Subway.On the positive side, the service was simple but good, the ladies working there were gentle and the Mexican music was good.I think they have potential to get better, but they need to fill those gaps.

I tried this place yesterday. It was SO GOOD. The service was nice and the food was absolutely delicious. We tried, birria tacos, steak tacos, and birria ramen. Everything tasted really fresh and like a warm hug. I would absolutely recommend this place.

S+ tier! It deserves more than it's current 4.5 star rating. This place serves up some of the best birria tacos in Montreal, and the sauces that they have in the side are perfect. There's a really spicy one, and I just wanted to keep eating more and more of it. The sauces pair really well with the tacos - my mouth is watering as I am typing this review. The tres leches cake was also served with really generous portions. I loved it. Honestly, if I wasn't at a restaurant and I was at home I'd be licking that plate clean like a dog. 😆 Their playlist is also really nice too.

We ordered drinks and repeatedly asked to have them changed because there were insects in them, but the waiters always gave us the same glasses and said it was nothing. We ended up getting sick afterwards.

I went there to celebrate my graduation, and there was a mosquito in my drink. I sent it back and asked for it again, and still the same thing happened. So i changed my drink order and they took it off the bill.

Food was good, server was nice (music a bit too loud but that’s fine). tthe main thing is: the menu visible from the street says the Al Pastor tacos are 18$ for 4, which is what brought me in. Once inside though, i’m being told that it’s 3 tacos only and 19$! Each taco went from being 4.5$ to being 6.33$. 😅 Please change the menu outside? And…. aren’t there laws against wrongly advertised prices?? 🤔

We decided to come here on a whim with my in-laws who are in town visiting from Mexico, and wow the food did not disappoint. Literally everything we ordered was delicious and approved by my in-laws. The chilaquiles with chorizo were delicious and very filling. The salsas were all tasty and spicy enough, and the micheladas were very tasty. My mother in law loved the birria and said it was perfectly seasoned. They even have a little cupboard in the front with Mexican candies and snacks. It’s the perfect mix of Montreal and Mexico, with the food and view of outside. Very lovely, 10/10.

The service was good, but the food was disappointing. I went there for the all you can eat on Tuesday and Wednesday, and the tacos were very dry. There was no sauce except when we ordered chicken tacos for the first time. However, the second time we ordered chicken tacos there was no sauce. It’s unfortunate because there’s a lot of good reviews and I had high hopes, but it looks like from other reviews some clients that came for the all you can eat had a similar experience
