We came on a very quiet Sunday night and honestly had an amazing experience! The waiter gave us an incredible service that normally you'd get in an upscale restaurant and everything we ordered was so fresh delicious! Especially my ramen soup one of the best I've ever had! This gem is worth coming to often!

We saw reviews saying that the Duck Tataki is one of the best dishes. Unfortunately, I have to disagree because the meat slices are so thin, you don't even taste the duck. I have had my fair share of Duck Tataki and this is the worst one I ever had. It's expensive, mediocre tasting and the meat is paper thin. We also ordered their Chicken Katsu Curry Rice, it was decent but the portion is really small too. Okonomiyaki is the only dish that we think it's tasty, fairly priced with a decent portion.

Great experience at this Japanese restaurant! The food was fresh and delicious. Eddie was our server and he was excellent, very friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back!

Nice good, although pricey. Hot sake wasn’t of the top quality. Staff could be friendlier. Atmosphere is nice and cozy.

The vibes? Immaculate. The music? Banging. Eddie? The best. So much fun on my birthday trip to Montreal. Highly recommend the mackerel and the Mt. Fuji cocktail. If Google gave me 6 stars, Kyodai Izakaya would get 6 stars

Kyodai Izakaya is hands down one of the best spots in Montreal for an authentic Japanese pub experience. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere takes you to a trip in japan, perfect for a night out with friends or a fun date. The food is incredible, everything was seasoned to perfection and served hot. The service was fast and friendly, making sure our drinks were never empty. If you're looking for great vibes and even better food in the city, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing unagi udon. The eel was perfectly tender with a rich, smoky glaze, and the broth was deep and comforting. The udon noodles had the perfect chew. Easily one of the best bowls I’ve had. The service was very kind and the atmosphere quite elegant 🥰

An incredible experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely extraordinary — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish was perfectly executed. The staff was attentive and professional throughout the evening. A special shout-out to our server Jason, who was fantastic — friendly, efficient, and very attentive. We had a great experience at this Japanese restaurant. We were a group of five and the atmosphere was really nice. We enjoyed sake served in the traditional Japanese style, which made the experience feel even more authentic. We also ordered noodles and the classic curry, and everything was absolutely delicious.The restaurant was quite busy, so service can take a little longer. Plan to spend at least two hours there. If you have another event afterward, make sure to schedule it at least three hours later so you can fully enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.Aside from that, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended.
