I went there last night. The food was great and the service rather prompt. Luckily, it wasn't busy. I am giving it a 3-star rating because when paying by card, I noticed that the tip calculation is off. For a $34 meal and a 15% tip, the amount shown was $44 dollars, which is clearly not 15%. I tried customizing the amount and the tip ended up being double than what I wanted to leave. My recommendation is: pay only the amount on your bill by card and the tip in cash.

Hi TJ,
The tipping is confusing because of how the payment systems work. This is a UI issue for ALL restaurants and ALL payment systems in Québec. So the first amount shown, the $34, is the SUBTOTAL. You tip on the subtotal, which at 15% is about $5. Then the final amount you see is the total WITH TAX AND TIP. The tax is around 15%, which is about $5; so that combined with your $5 tip makes the final $44. I hope that helps clarify.
