I used to order from Tassot, but after trying the griot at Kim’s, there’s no going back! Flavourful and comforting, and their sauce is the BEST. 5 stars. I only wish that there was an option on UberEats to ask for extra sauce and extra fresh veggies (the sliced onion and bell pepper). It’s best to go and order in-person if you want extras.

I have tried many Haitian restaurants and this place is in the top 5 still haven’t decided 1 or second places. The food is great nice pieces of meat more meat than fat 🥰 service one of the fastest service I ever had in Haitian restaurant. Not a fan of the location for now since a lot of construction around the area, temporary situation

If you’re ever in Longueuil, Canada, you HAVE to check out Kim Détente Restaurant! The food is incredible and the portions are so generous for the price — genuinely one of the best value meals I've had in a while. We’re from Brockton, Massachusetts and my aunt Maud referred us. The fried fish is out-of-this-world good 😋 I'm still thinking about it. And the hospitality? Top notch. Can't recommend it enough!

The food is quite good but the service is poor. The menu is a sheet on the table and the decor could really be improved. I took the griot which comes with macaroni, plantain & rice. It was quite dry but full of flavour.

Loved my experience there, my plate was filled to the side and the workers were very friendly and nice! Only reason i give 4 stars is because there was no music in the background, but as for the food and service 10/10

I drive out 20 mins to this place, because it's that good! Generous portions and authentic Haitian food!
