They had live music on Friday when we went. It was nice. We started with the shrimp appetizer it was delicious. I had the octopus appetizer as my entree with the aqua Fresca to drink. The combination took me back to Europe. It just gave such a Mediterranean vibe. Burger and steak and frites were good choices too. Finished with the carrot cake, was good.

Had an amazing experience with my boyfriend. The food was amazing! We shared 6 oysters which were fresh and yummy. I had Linguine Alle Vongole and i kid you not, it was the perfect portion and so saucy! Loved it so much i actually ate all my food (i usually don't as sometimes the portions are massive, especially pasta). My boyfriend got the Keela Burger and i snuck a couple bites, it was really good too and the fries were not overly fried! We also got dessert, and if you like carrot cake... OMGGGG, super yum!!! Our waitress was amazing and the staff was super friendly. It's close to L'Olympia which worked out for us because we were catching a comedy show after dinner. Overall this is a great place and definitely recommend. They are also kid friend!

Fantastic spot right near L'Olympia! We grabbed dinner before a comedy show and were completely blown away. The Piri Piri bread, Octopus, Celery Root Salad, and steak for two were all incredible. A true gem. We will definitely be back whenever we are in town!

Definitely a gem in village. Everybody in our group was delighted with our respective plates. Chocolate mousse was delicious (I would ask with less salt over it the next time).

The celery root carpaccio was incredible, one of the best entrées I've ever had. I then had the Cornish hen for the main course, which was cooked perfectly. The staff was also very friendly & knowledgeable about the dishes & which wines (which they do have by the glass) paired well. One of the better dining spots I've tried in Montreal, a must try if you're in the area.

It’s been our favorite restaurant for years now, and we absolutely love it. The food is always amazing, and the service is top notch and genuinely friendly. Without a doubt, one of the best spots in the city!!

What an incredible experience! The food was to die for. We had the celery carpaccio, beef tartar and Piri piri bread. It was so good I forgot about my drink (big deal) and the staff was so warm, Kristen is a charm. Highly recommend!

Made a reservation. Tuesday 2$ oyster day ! The wood fired breads were great . We tried all the starters. All flavorful but the celery root carpaccio was the highlight

Food quality is fine, but kitchen is very slow. It took more than 40 min for my food to come. Main problem is the service. Servers are extremely rude and they really don't care. There was live music that night, but we could barely hear him because of the noise level in the restaurant. There are way better restaurants in the area. I will not come back for sure.

Keela is a restaurant we might have never discovered if it weren’t for a local’s recommendation, as it’s tucked away on a side street off of Rue St. Catherine. We decided to stop by for dinner on our first night in Montreal, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were truly out of this world. The service was also excellent, making the entire experience even better. We enjoyed it so much that we came back for a second night—and once again, we were not disappointed. Keela is definitely an underrated gem in Montreal. Highly recommend giving it a try!

I cannot say enough how perfect our expereince here was. We sat at the bar and there was live music, it was the perfect volume and vibe. If the food and drinks were not good enough, the staff was superb. Lucy our bartender was a consumate host. We will be back every time we are in Montreal.

I wish I lived in Montreal just to be able to visit Keela as often as I want. Delicious food and drinks, cozy ambiance, and friendly servers. What more could you want? We visited on Friday so there was also great live music playing. Make sure to try whatever specials they recommend when you visit, we tried multiple and they were all incredible, especially the scallops.

Amazing food, friendly and efficient staff, fun (if a bit loud) atmosphere. The Cornish hen dish was out of this world: spot-on tender cook with a vibrant sauce, and scrumptious seasonal vegetables cooked to perfection. On the night that I went, it was particularly busy, and they appeared to be understaffed — longer wait times than average. Nevertheless, the service was friendly.

Absolutely fantastic! The food was great, particularly the celery carpaccio and the pesto bread. The homemade ice cream is a great dessert! Well worth the trip, will come back next time we are in Montreal.
