If you’re vegetarian and hoping to try some of their vegetarian dishes, I’d recommend spending your money elsewhere. The overall experience at Aroma was quite disappointing. We arrived around 10:15 p.m. and were informed by the server that the kitchen would be closing by 10:30. Understanding the time constraint, we ordered two simpler dishes that we hoped would not take long to prepare: Aloo Tikki Chaat and Vegetable Pulao. Unfortunately, both dishes fell well short of expectations. The Aloo Tikki Chaat appeared to use pre-made, frozen tikki (possibly from a commercial brand such as Nanak’s or Barar). It seemed to have been simply microwaved and then assembled with a large portion of chana and dahi, causing the tikki itself to get lost in the bowl. The result was undercooked and lacked any real flavor. The Vegetable Pulao was equally bland—completely lacking in spices and seasoning. Despite the generous portion size, we could barely manage half of it. While we understand that the kitchen staff may have been eager to finish for the night, serving undercooked and flavorless food is not an acceptable solution. It would have been far better to politely decline the order so we could have chosen another restaurant.

⭐ Very Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended We visited this restaurant for dinner while travelling in Montreal, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived, nobody welcomed us or acknowledged us. We stood at the reception for around five minutes before anyone attended to us. After placing our order, we were not even served water. We ordered Shahi Paneer, but it was very disappointing. It had no salt and almost no spice or flavour. The food quality did not meet our expectations at all. The billing experience was equally frustrating. Our bill was $41, and we paid $50 in cash. We received only $5 in change, with the staff member saying they did not have any more change. However, we had noticed that change was available. We were not asking for any tax rebate; we simply expected to receive the correct change. As visitors coming from another city, we expected basic hospitality, decent food, cleanliness, and respectful service. Instead, we felt unwelcome and poorly treated. It gave us the impression that customers who are unlikely to return are not valued. I would not recommend this restaurant, especially if you are visiting Montreal for the first time and looking for a good dining experience. The service, food quality, cleanliness, and handling of the bill all need significant improvement.

We came to Montreal as a trip and thankfully came here to eat. The food was absolutely delicious. We all loved the signature chicken kadhai. Hopefully we’ll visit this soon.

Last night was my first time eating at Karahi Point, we had the chicken samosas, a plate of rice, the 1/2 of white meat kahari special (I believe) with an order of chicken kebabs and bread. Wow i have to say the Samosas were crispy and paired perfectly with the green sauce, 9/10 The Rice was fresh and fluffy and soft, perfectly prepared The buttered naan bread was so good, it arrived hot and with the butter melted on top, perfectly cooked. The Kahari special, came with white meat chicken and a tomatoe sauce with ginger in it, it was so flavorful and delicious. The Chicken skeewers were also spiced nicely and had a great texture and taste. Overall the place was clean, and fast and everything surpassed my expectations.
