Very good sushi place to hang out and staffs are very attentive.
we ordered the 2 people combo+sake and tea, in total about 170$ all in. We were not so full but ok. Food quality is average. What surprised us are the hygence. At first, we found the napkins are dirty with yellowish stains on it. Then later when eating the soup, my husband noticed his white plastic spoon had obvious red lipstick mark on it while grossed us out. Besides that, they asked us to share the saucer for soya sauce since they ran out of it, then told us no teapot cover if ordering tea....
Coming from Nova Scotia, we were really impressed with the sushi here. Everything was fresh and tasty, particularly the sweet shrimp and scallops. The chef’s recommended rolls were a highlight for us, and the kids loved their eel sushi and the mango dessert. It’s a wonderful spot for a meal, and I highly recommend eating at the restaurant rather than ordering takeout so you can enjoy the lovely presentation.
I came by a couple of weeks ago and ordered the chirashi bowl. It was excellent, fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. So many varieties of fish & seafood. I had nothing negative to say. It was so good that I came back and ordered the exact same dish. I rarely write reviews, and usually only when I have something positive to share. But this time, the experience was completely different. It was honestly the worst chirashi bowl I’ve ever seen. The fish didn’t smell fresh, the color seemed off, and the cuts were super inconsistent, some pieces even looked as if they had been chewed and spat back into the bowl. Quality and Quantity were completely out of the window. It was very disappointing, especially considering how great my first visit was. I’m not sure how the quality could vary so drastically. I ate most of it and left all the pieces that were highly questionable, I’m genuinely hoping I don’t feel sick later tonight. I’ll let you guys judge by looking at the pictures. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
staff is so nice and the atmosphere and food are great :)
