Best pokebowl ive ever had, of you like sushi go here
This is my first time coming here and also the last time.So the food was good but just half of them were hard but i loved the fried dumplings, the service were very slow but they were very nice. The place was dark and it was very hot in there so i had to go outside for 2 times.
There's a mandatori service fee of 15% after six people party. But there's no additional service. There's a Robot bringing the meal to the table ; and you're not allowed to leave the empty dishes on it. We had to ask every time to a server to take them out. The fountain soda hasn't refill. They don't even gave water to each one of us.
They charged my group a mandatory 15% service fee AFTER tax, because we were a large group. However we got separated into 5 different tables AND the robot served us literally the entire time. I'm not sure if this is even legal to charge the tip after tax. I hope it wasn't on purpose but i think the same girl charged all of us one by one so that would add up to a lot of extra money spent/earned and i don't believe it's ethical. They did tell us about the service fee in advance so I'm not complaining about that part, just the fact that we were barely even served. Just once at the beginning to seat us and explain things. Aside from that, service was good though, as in, the waiter greeted us and was happy to explain what drinks there were. After giving the drink, he left and didn't give us water so we just asked the kitchen if we could take a pitcher of water. I tried to get his attention a few times but I'm not sure if he was looking in our direction. Not sure if it's normal. Food was good as well but it's a bit overpriced. I understand because it's near downtown though. The pitcher of alcohol was really worth it and it tasted good.
Every time we come it's good, no disappointments. The service, the food, the cleanliness, all on point. Recommended.
Food was very average. I ordered shrimp tempura rolls and the shell was still on the shrimps. They have no ice cream for dessert either when places like this usually do. Nothing to say about the service, staff was nice and taking away dishes as soon as they were empty
Overrated to be honest they are better all-you-can-eat places that are cheaper as well. 50 plus $ for all-you-can-eat sushi that wasn't all of that is crazy . Also, the scenery is meh, and the chairs are so far from the table. I will never go back to be honest save your money. I love the cute server kitty robot 🐱. All jokes aside I don’t recommend, save your money. In this economy with mid-quality sushi and not a lot of variety for an all-you-can-eat sushi it’s a no for me.
Came in with friends for their birthday and everything was fine until it was time to pay. As we were trying to explain to the blonde waitress how we wanted to separate the bills, she started giving attitude and gave us the reason that it was because she had a “bad day”. My friends and i felt uncomfortable being served by this rude waitress
Great spot for tourists and anyone looking for good KBBQ. All you can eat with a great selection of grill items and kitchen-made options like sushi, poke bowls, bipimbap, fried chicken, and more.
They charge 1$ for lettuce, but the food is great for the price.
First time at a Korean BBQ place. Food was delicious. Got right in around 1:30 pm without a reservation. You order via a QR code and a cute kitty robot brings it to you! Loved everything but the loud rap. It was unfortunately not censored so you might not want to bring children here. There is a large, steep flight of steps to enter the restaurant, so be aware of that. Not a problem for us. Not sure if they have an elevator. Pricing was good, $34 per person for all you can eat with a 2 hour table time.
For AYCE, it’s actually quite good. I’m not expecting high quality or anything. You can even get sushi, and honestly, how they crank those out so quickly astonishes me. I think my main complaint is that if you go multiple times, you do get kinda bored with the options. It does get quite stale. Your first visit, you are just blown away that you can order on your phone, it comes to you on a robot, and that you can do this forever for as long as you finish it. It feels too good to be true. Until you go for your fourth try and you kinda want to eat something different, but you can’t. I think that’s just the nature of these places, but man. I’m just tired of the menu, and honestly, it’s both a me and a them problem. Also, sometimes they do miss orders and you are waiting for something that may not ever come. This is more of a problem when it gets busy in there. The service is really good though. The atmosphere is great. I love a good moody lighting, and they played some 2000s and 2010s music in the background, which is my jam.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere! It's a cozy space you can hangout with your friends and family. Shout out to that one girl waiter that played roll the dice with their tip :P
This place was great. Great service, great food. Meet was fresh and great marinade. The basa fillet and sweet potato tempura were my faves. Lots of options and it was all good. My nephew's loved the fried calamari and fried scallops. We had the sweet buns as dessert and they were crispy outside fluffy inside. Yummm. We did not order any sushi but what we saw people getting looked divine and good portions, and the fish food so fresh. To address the negative comments I have seen said: NO a tip was not added to my bill by the staff automatically. Price was for those saying expensive, it is all you can eat meat, veggies, sides, seafood and sushi. It was 44 per adult and 28 per kid. Only a few items you paid extra for like 2 of the desserts. Also as for portion, I found them perfect. Small yes, but if you want more then when ordering instead of doing 1 portion do 2 or 3.
Service was fast and the ambiance was definitely a younger college crowd. Lots of asians eating there, which is always a good indicator of quality asian food
I like going there, their service is extra quick.Ive never waited more then 5 minutes for the food to come.Only downside is depends where u are seated but some spots ,i think there is a fan that comes on when there is too much smoke and it gets very chilly.I was cold and had to put my coat on during my last visit ,the tabke next to mine complained about it too..🫤
Delicious.
It was very busy (the room was full) but the food still came in a timely manner so it didn't even felt like it!
Today is Thursday, March 12, 2026, and I came to eat at this restaurant, "Kalbi BBQ," because I was told it was a good place to enjoy the food. Well… everything was fine until it was time to pay, and of course I paid for the food I had; but the waitress was very arrogant when she showed me the final bill because, in addition to that, she insisted I pay the tips. She demanded it with a dismissive tone of voice, and I didn't think it was fair treatment. Today was my first day here, and I had a terrible experience with that woman who claimed to be the manager. She is a woman of Asian descent, with short hair and a thin build. I am extremely upset about the experience I had in front of other diners who also witnessed it. Besides the fact that the prices are high compared to other restaurants in the same area with the same theme or service, they dare to demand a tip as if it were a crime not to pay it voluntarily. I told her I wanted to speak to the manager, but she claimed to be the manager; then I asked to speak to the owner, but she flatly refused. Simply put, TERRIBLE ATTITUDE.
Cool robot servers, but the tables a bit too tight for them to be easy to access the trays. Food is fine for the price, but I wish the LA kalbi (beef short ribs) was seasoned more, as the kalbi sauce is closer to a gojujiang mixed down than a traditional marinade. Either way, it's fine, and is what the locals probably expect from AYCE KBBQ.
We had a great experience at this all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. For about $100 for two adults and one child, the meal felt like very good value considering the variety and quality of food available. We tried several types of sushi, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The BBQ chicken was also a nice surprise—flavorful and a good option if you want something different between sushi dishes. The all-you-can-eat format makes the experience very satisfying because you can try many different items without worrying about ordering just one dish. Overall, it was a fun and filling dining experience in a lively Chinatown location, and it’s a great spot if you want plenty of variety and fresh sushi. 🍣🥢
Good to place to have korean barbecue and its not that expensive. Sea food and sushi are good. I had desert related to Caramel and that was v good❤️
