Good quality for a all you can eat- keep up the great standard
K2 is beautifully decorated with Ghibli theming. The reservation/queue system works well with a QR code on the front door to reserve your space in the queue and front of house staff regularly monitoring. Ordering is easy and efficient with the tablet system and food is to a high standard and delicious! Good variety of options with vegetarian, halal, pescatarian and meat options. Good location with easy access to the metro and buses. Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive! Thank you!! ❤️
They messed up of reservations time and said we had to wait 2h
service was very slow and the menu is very underwhelming with very little sushi options as well as other items. I ordered a lot of items when i fist came and almost an hour later i still didn’t get them. When i asked the waiter if i still had sushi on the way they would either tell me they didn’t know or would go check and never come back. the food is very mid and i overall wasn’t happy with my experience at k2 bistro
I recently dined at K2 Bistro and was absolutely blown away by their new spot as I already knew their previous spot! The variety of tasty sushi available and the halal option was incredible, with each piece bursting with flavor. The friendly staff made us feel right at home, providing excellent service throughout our meal. The wonderful environment, complete with great Mangan style decoration, added to the overall experience. Another point is the easy order system, which made it a breeze to try different dishes. If you're a sushi lover, this place is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
All you can eat for lunch is decently priced but other than the salmon, most of the items such as rolls are close to unedible
I recently went here to eat at lunchtime and was surprised that they had a Halal menu for all the food was really good and the proportions are very fair so you don’t overwhelm yourself The staff is helpful and respectful. They have a big variety of choices, it’s a Ghibli anime style restaurant, which is very attractive to the eye a concept not seen here! It’s in the middle of downtown parking is very limited. It’s right beside the metro concordia.
K2 Bistro is a sushi lover's paradise! The variety of tasty sushi available at the buffet is simply unbeatable, with fresh ingredients and delightful flavors in every bite. The friendly staff makes you feel right at home, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere is enhanced by wonderful decor, creating a vibrant yet relaxing environment. I particularly appreciated the easy order system that made selecting my favorites a breeze. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or a newcomer, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommend!
absolutely amazing place for someone who is in love with studio ghibli. the ambiance is great, service is amazing full of kind and patient staff❤️❤️
The food and decor were amazing. In a city filled with all you can eat sushi, K2 is the absolute must go! Haven't had good sushi like this in a while. Only downside was that we waited 2 hours before getting a table but we were already aware that would happen since we did not have a reservation on a friday night. Make sure you make a reservation. Totally worth the wait!
I used to really like Bistro K2, but unfortunately my last experience changed my impression completely. From the moment we arrived, the manager was quite rude. He immediately warned us that we only had 30 minutes to order, which felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. The tone was unprofessional and made us feel rushed rather than valued as customers. What was even more disappointing is that he brought us the bill without us asking for it, which made us feel like we were being pushed out. It’s unfortunate because I genuinely enjoyed this place before, but this kind of service really affects the overall experience. I hope they can improve their customer service moving forward
1. Today I went to eat at the restaurant, and one of the employees spoke to me very rudely. 2. He never, ever explained the brunch I paid for. I was going to pay for the $44 menu, which wasn't possible. 3. I asked if I could pay for the full menu, to which he rudely replied that I couldn't, that I had to pay the $30 and ask one last time, and that I should come back. I've been eating there for years, and I feel like they've lost a lot of their values. 4. I apologize because I didn't act in the best way either. I also share some of the blame for what I said, and I apologize in advance. Thank you.
They keep bringing food till you die ❤️
Food is great and the location is cute but you can never find a parking. It once took me 35 minutes to find one.
I'm only giving 2 stars because we managed to get a discount after our horrible experience here. If they offer you a private room, do not say yes! I booked with this restaurant weeks in advance for my birthday, I loved the decor and was excited to eat in a ghibli themed restuarant. I was contacted a few hours before my reservation and offered a "private room" for my large party of guests, the person on phone very specifically said that the private room had the "same decor" as the main dining floor, so I agreed. When I arrived the private room was not as advertised, we were taken upstairs past the main dining floor to what looked like a tiny break room with stark fluorescent lighting, there were no windows, no music and there was a constant electric humming emanating from a locked door in the back. The only similarity between this room and the rest of the restaurant was the ghibli wallpaper which was also in the bathroom downstairs. In fact that room had more in common with the bathrooms than anything else on the main floor of the restuarant. We requested to be moved downstairs but the staff refused, so faced with prospect of having to find another restaurant to accommodate our large party, we decided to stay put and make the best of it. We were also only given two hours to eat, some of my party admittedly arrived late so the time limit was a bit stressful, I would have seen this as a fair trade off if we had been given a table downstairs, but seeing as we had been duped into eating in what looked like a storage room it felt like insult to injury. Waiting in line for the bathroom downstairs was a nicer experience than eating in the room they had given us. At the end of our meal we asked to speak to the manager about our experience and he was not apologetic. When I told him that the room was clearly an inferior option when compared to the dining experience being offered downstairs he argued that the room was in fact decorated and weakly gestured to the ghibli wallpaper. Then he tried to tell me that some people "like having a different option" and that "nobody has disliked the room so far" but I had not been offered a "different option" on the phone, I had literally been told that this room had the same decor as the space downstairs. We were given a discount and a free bottle of soju after we threatened to leave one star. At the end of the night we still payed $50+ per person for this sub par dining experience: The food and the service from the wait staff were all satisfactory, but I felt deliberately misled into booking an inferior space. It was obvious that this room was originally a staff room or storage room that probably never intended for customers. My theory is that they only opened it up to the public because the restaurant has been consistently swamped on weekends since renovations. They're offering it sight unseen as a "private vip" room so that they can claim that the customer agreed to a "different" dining experience. This would only be fair if I had known what I was getting, as a choice made without all the necessary information is not a real choice at the end of the day. So if you still want to eat at this place, and they offer you a private room on a busy saturday night, say no unless you want to pay a visit to the backrooms.
Very delicious sushi and the service is very quick and efficient. Lots of variety of sushi and other appetizers. My friends love this place :) Shoutout VP recruitment
I had an amazing experience at K2 Bistro! The tasty sushi selections were fresh and flavorful, satisfying every craving I had. The staff was super friendly and so quick. I can't wait to return and indulge in more delicious offerings! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a delightful sushi buffet experience!

Amazing!!
K2 rivals with Kaedo for best AYCE sushi in the city. This location is much more impressive than their last which was further down crescent. There is more seating available in this one, much needed as they get super busy. The staff does an excellent job at managing the bustling demand, dishes don't take too long to come out even with so many people ordering at once, it's quite impressive. The interior is fantastically decorated with some Anime elements, they make good use of the two floors. There is plenty of variety in the menu and the quality is generally great.
