The food wasn’t what we expected, some dishes were EXCELLENT but some less, and the service was so great about everything. We loved our waitress, the people and the overall service

Amazing deal on the table d'hote. My 3 friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it
June Buvette is an excellent choice for a cozy, intimate dinner in Montreal! I recommend making a reservation ahead of time as they got quite busy when we dined here. The interior is dimly lit with simple yet elegant decorations. The servers here are very helpful and attentive and can help with any questions about the menu. We chose to get one table d’hôte along with another appetizer to share. For our table d’hôte starter, we chose the oyster mushrooms. They were cooked extremely well and paired well with the pickled shallots. Our other appetizer was the fried calamari. The squid was lightly fried and crispy with a classic sweet and sour sauce. For our main, we had the beef flank steak. It was perfectly cooked medium-rare and so tender. The steak slices were topped with large onion rings and served with a really creamy, delicious purée and pepper sauce. The highlight of our meal had to be the bread pudding. It was so sweet and rich. The lemon crumble added a crunch and bright flavor that contrasted the rich taste of the bread pudding. June Buvette was absolutely one of the best meals I had in Montreal. Come here for both the wonderful food and lively atmosphere!
Great atmosphere and service. Their Beef Tar Tar is excellent. I suggest their Omeril cocktail👌
great ambiance, great food and the best cocktails !! love the atmosphere & a must-go in psc 💛 wish it was a little easier to get a reservation, usually only bar spots are available for booking
Beautiful and cozy restaurant. Amiable service but slightly slow (it’s Valentine’s Day, busy). Vibe was comforting due to the coziness of the place. Delicious food (fried calamari tossed in delicious sauce, duck breast with red wine sauce, beets, and figs, rigatoni à la vodka and with decadent pain perdu in the end) and beautiful presentation, with perfect pairing with our Pinot noir from Germany. Perfect place for a date night.
They have an excellent wine list. Our waitress was fabulous and friendly, knowledgeable. The atmosphere itself it definitely my vibe but if you're the person sitting on the stool. Good luck! They are incredibly uncomfortable. The food was incredibly sub par. We both loved the burrata and I'd go back for just that and a glass of wine. The tagliatelle was bland, cold and the mushrooms were under cooked and flavorless. The fish. Their branzino was way overcooked, very fishy and the flavour combination of the dish was completely off. There was a sweet puree, spinach and the flavorless mushrooms from our tagliatelle. My friend and I split the bill and I paid over 100$ I was so sad! Also the portions are sharing sized. So quite small.
Such a gem of a place, food is always amazing and the service is excellent!
