Jun I was a wonderful dining experience and well worth the reservation. I had a 6:30 PM Saturday booking, which turned out to be perfect timing — the restaurant was already quite crowded when I arrived, and the energy felt lively but still intimate. I started with two orders of uni as an appetizer. It was incredibly fresh and buttery, with a clean, rich flavor that really stood out. For my main, I ordered the gindara. The portion was smaller than I expected, but the taste absolutely delivered — deeply savory, perfectly cooked, and very satisfying. The uni was so good that I ended up ordering another round even after my main. For dessert, I had the banane hojicha, which was a great finish to the meal. The server was extremely kind and thoughtful — he added a candle to my dessert and even poured me a complimentary glass of umeshu. Unfortunately I was already very full by then, but it was delicious and a really nice touch. Overall, excellent food, warm service, and a great special-occasion spot. I’d definitely return.

Fish is consistently top 3 in Montreal. Maki/nigiri/sashimi always solid. Ambiance and service have declined post pandemic. No sushi bar anymore significantly hurts the ambiance.

Nice and fresh Sushi. Best Sushi Bento in Montreal.

Had my birthday dinner here, for my first ever tasting menu it was pretty good! I liked how the atmosphere picked up to a more energetic one as the night went on. The first dishes in their omakase had my friends and I raving about it afterwards.
