The calentado was so comforting! Kids loved the arepa de choclo. The fresh lulo and mango juice was amazing. And the friendly service is 10 out of 5.

I ordered El Causita, the flavor was there, I also liked the different textures with the crispy potato and starchy choclo + the portion was fair. However the meat was way too tough and chewy (over 2 minutes of awkwardly trying to get through each piece and then deep flossing) which really took from the eating experience especially taking the price into account. Maybe considering thinner slices and a tenderizing marinade would for sure elevate the dish!

As difficult as they might be to say, as I’ve had over 15,000 breakfasts in my lifetime. I believe that was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The food was extraordinary. Next level. My girlfriend and I cannot wait to go back to Montreal and have it again. Everything was better than perfect. And our server was super nice, friendly, and professional. 3 cheers to the staff and owners of this place, y’all are KILLING IT!

Small, charming gem in my neighborhood Saint-Henri. I expected great churros (and they are!), but the empanadas truly surprised me, so delicious and gluten-free too. Honestly, they make it very easy to indulge… no regrets. The owners are incredibly kind, which really elevates the experience. We had a neighborhood dinner party there last night and everyone was delighted. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. So nice to have them as friendly neighbours, definitely a spot worth supporting.

Amazing place. The staff is incredibly kind and lovely, the food is delicious (I personally recommend the churros, they are freshly made and so yummy!) Great place to visit if you are a local or from outside of Montreal!! Update: just tried their empanadas yesterday and they are sooo good. The two I tried were the pulled pork and pulled beef, both were equally delicious. MUST tries 😍😍😍

We were having a memorial service at home and I was looking for food to serve. I happened upon Juanitos, saw the 5-star rating, and the photos of the gorgeous multi-color empanadas, so I came in and was given amazing service by whom I assume was the very proud owner/operator. I reheated them at home after the guests had torn through the charcuterie board and the crackers and the grapes and I was a bit worried it would be a bit too much food. Not to worry. Everyone gobbled down the empanadas and they became the topic of conversation for 5 minutes. Loved the cornflour exterior even more than the fillings and those were incredible - shrimp, chorizo & goat cheese, chicken, pulled pork, vegetarian. I swear that multiple people vowed to order more soon. Will absolutely be back.

I tasted Heaven there! The empanadas are the best I have ever had and everything else I tried was crazily good. The owners are the nicest people ever, they are passionnates and they were their hearts on their sleeves. The place is super cute too and you can buy a lot of products! Juanitos is definitely a gem ❤️

This place came recommended to us and it didn’t disappoint. Fantastic food and even better service. These folks give their all to their beloved business and it shows. It’s not a Mexican restaurant as many believe. They serve Latin American dishes from many different countries and the variety is refreshing.

A new favourite spot and recommendation to my friends that are looking for a great and friendly spot in the neighbourhood! We’ve been a few times now, no matter our hunger level—everything is comfortably filling if we’re really hungry or just right if we’re craving a snack. The cheese empanada is my personal favourite with the salsa verde on the side (and you have to try the garlic dipping sauce!). The crunch, quality and temperature of the empanada flavours is 10/10. The workers are always so kind and friendly, and greet us with such friendly smiles. So happy for their team and always excited to go back! 🥹
