Portions were amazing. If I lived 30 miles away I would drive here just for the food. The dinner was excellent.

Had an evening meal at the restaurant, and it was truly great. The service was terrific, with the waiter being very on-point. Checked in regularly, knew everything there was to know. Our food was fabulous. Honestly the large salad was shockingly large, and we were grateful for it! It came in a large salad bowl, a family-sized bowl. Great dressing too. The cheese pizza was on the gourmet side, not being straight-up mozzarella, so that was a surprise for those who ordered it. But I loved eating the rest of it cold the next day. :) 11/10 would recommend. We wouldn't have even known about it except for chatting with a stranger on the ski lift! Love him for the recommendation. Keep on keepin' on, all y'all!
Food and customer service was top tier. Would stop in again if I find myself in the area again.
I love Jay Peak and JVI is 7 minutes down the road. My first time staying at the Inn but not the first I've been to JVI to eat. Food is always great and service wicked. I ate downstairs at the bar Monday nite there was no one! The bartenders were super friendly and let me take my time making small conversation. Highly recommend will be going back
No maid service. You will have to take out your own trash and ask for towels. However, the hot tub and sauna are great both very hot. Hot tub can get up to 107° sauna idk the exact temperature but it’s plenty hot. I believe the sauna stops working after 10pm though. The food is pretty good and the portions are biblical.
I had the giant chicken Cesar salad at Jay Village Inn and they weren’t kidding about the “giant” part. It was massive in the best way. Grilled chicken, romaine, plenty of dressing, and an amazing bread on the side. I left full and very happy. Definitely worth ordering. The restaurant is also very cozy!
We stopped here for lunch today at 2pm and there was hardly anyone in the dining area we were seated at. The hostess had no idea what type of beer they served. She brought over the drink menu and we placed an order for a switchback and an orange creamsicle. Whom I thought was the bartender then came over and told me they were out of the orange creamsicle so I ordered a raspberry mimosa. We saw her at the bar the whole time we sat there. A waiter then showed up and asked if we needed a drink. We told him we had placed an order and he took our food order. 15 minutes later we are still waiting for our drinks. There was no one at the bar drinking and there was one other table with two people at it that were cashing out. No drinks came. I asked the hostess if she had put the drink order in and she said she did. I then watched the bartender go to her computer and look at something and then walk away with a bag of what looked like lettuce. The waiter came back and filled my water glass but no drinks. We got up and walked out. It was the worse service we have experienced in a long time. This was our first and LAST time at this location. Too bad you don't want local people spending their money at your restaurant Very sad!!
Incredible spot with great character and awesome restaurant. Will absolutely be back, shout out the owners and staff who made it great.
Jay Village Inn is the perfect spot to stay for visiting Jay’s Peak. The rooms are basic but comfortable. There is a hot tub and sauna available for use in the winter. The waitresses and bartenders were very friendly, accommodating, and kind. The restaurant food portions are huge. The only room for improvement would be the flavor profile. We tried the vermont cheddar burger and it was plain and dry. The mozzarella sticks were delicious and the breakfast options were great. The drinks are amazing and sitting by the fire is a great way to relax after a long day of skiing. We would definitely recommend staying here!
Great service, the food and drinks were great and you definitely don't leave hungry
Stopped by Jay Village Inn and got the nachos. The portions were huge and honestly kind of crazy. The food was okay overall, but our server Emily really made the visit better. She was kind, friendly, and super attentive the whole time. Great attitude and great service.
Been coming here for over 20 years. The food is always good the atmosphere friendly and it's cozy by the real fireplace!! Used to come on my snowmobile with my friends now I'm coming with my family! Was there twice this past week and both the experiences and food were great . Wife and picky kids agree. Chicken fingers and pizza for them. And wife and I always split something good!! Burger , chicken bacon ranch, and Philly steak were awesome!! Thank you jvi
Great food. Dont miss this place.
OK food and the best option closest to Jay Peak. Would recommend this over anything at the mountain. Cozy fire lit dining room with immaculate vibes. Pizza felt more like a casserole although I’m probably biased as a tourist from out of state. Burger was OK. I would come back for the vibes
