I had a matcha latte and a fluffy and airy cheese cake! I’m so glad my friend introduced me to J&D. This bakery is comfortable and super clean, probably the cleanest cafe ever! 😊

Hidden gem in Brossard! Cute and spacious Asian café and bakery. Looks like they specialize in cake rolls and flavoured brioche buns. My husband and I had their matcha latte, cappucino, coconut brioche and a complimentary flan (the staff is so nice)! We also ordered assorted boxes of 16 cake rolls, and there's lots of fruit flavours to choose from.

We arrived earlier without noticing the business hours. The staff opened the door for us right away. If they were unable to serve us, they could simply have kept the door closed, and we would have chosen another nearby café. Opening early could have been an opportunity to deliver great service and earn positive feedback, rather than being treated as a favour used to morally pressure customers. Furthermore, if the establishment objected to our group combining tables, staff could have reminded us the moment we moved the chairs. No such warning was given. Thirty minutes later when our two other friends arrived, a female staff member came over to inform us that we needed to place extra drink orders. We responded that we would not order more drinks for now and might make other purchases later. Even though she looked displeased, she said nothing about combining tables at that time. Roughly twenty minutes afterwards, the male owner pointed at our friend who entered first and called him to the front‑desk. His attitude was very harsh and impolite, pressuring us to spend more. We remained courteous the whole time and ended up purchasing two more drinks out of pressure. The owner kept complaining non‑stop about his expensive rent, stating that pastries bought upon leaving would not count as on‑site spending, and criticising us for moving the furniture. The whole experience made us feel we were not welcomed customers, but rather adversaries. The owner mentioned that security camera footage is available. We invite future visitors to see the recordings and draw their own conclusions.

Out of kindness and to protect you from the bitter cold, we warmly welcomed your group inside more than 30 minutes before our official opening hours. It is deeply regrettable that our hospitality was met with such a lack of basic respect. Despite our polite on-site reminders that custom flooring is extremely costly to repair and that furniture must not be dragged without consent, your group chose to drag heavy sofas across the floor for your own convenience, causing visible property damage. We clearly expressed our objections to both your initial group and those who arrived later. We have full surveillance footage and photo evidence of these events. Twisting the facts into a malicious review after receiving our kindness and damaging our property does not change what happened. We hold ourselves to high standards of quality and service, and we respectfully wish you all the best elsewhere in the future. The Team at J&D Dessert Atelier

The staff are super friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. The sea salt almond cake roll is a real treat. First time here, and the matcha crepe cake and Japanese crème brûlée were chefs’ kisses. Don’t get me started on how cute everything is; will definitely come back. And the lattes were so good!
