We had the best time ever at Ivona’s restaurant, the food was authentic, and purely home traditional made. We love the “Dokono” we ordered plus the “Foutou/Fufu and peanut soup”!! it really reminded me my childhood in west africa, the variety of traditional food they are offering is insane and it was delicious! The best place in all Canada if you are looking for African food!!! We will be back! Veronique is so nice friendly and treats every guest like family. P.S : you must also definitely try their “Degue” dessert ! ❤️❤️❤️ thank you again IVONA for reminding me my childhood!

Ordered rice, plantain and goat meat & Chicken from here today. While the meat and plantain were hot and freshly prepared, the rice was already slimy and had a foul smell. Also, plantain was not tasty as it was not ripe enough.
