Reviews / Ratings for Iru Izakaya Ste-Foy
They've gotten much better overtime. We went the week the Izakaya opened and had ramens. We both found it too salty and it was a bit underwhelming at the time. If I had rated it at the time, I would have given a solid 2 stars for food. We went a second time about a year ago and it was already much better, but still had a few issues... During this visit, I had their seafood yakisoba (I forgot the full name sadly) and was mostly pleased but I did find the octopus to be rubbery... This would have been a 3 Stars in food at that time. Now we went last month and I had the bacon-chicken yakisoba and my partner had the ramen. I did also order a set of 3 tasters of Sake. I must say that this was the one: food was absolutely wonderfull and way more flavorful, textures were right and everything felt harmoneous. Sake was wonderful but I must say that me, a person with next to zero knowledge on sake had a hard time finding that much nuance in-between the 3 sakes we were served, but nonetheless, I enjoyed them thoroughly. Had a great time. And I must give a special mention to the staff, regardless of when we went, they were all wonderful, that has never been an issue at this restaurant.
We had the chef's choice set. It was pretty good.
Excellent!
Ramen🤮
Amazing food and service
We had an amazing time at Iru. We all took the discovery menu and plates after plates we we're amazed. The waiter Tan (Sorry if I butcher the name) was perfect. We ended up with a round of Sake bomb offered by the house. I encourage everyone that loves a good vibes and good food to give this a try. Cheers
The food and the ambience of the restaurant was excellent. The staff were all friendly here. We ordered the Yakisoba, Karaage Gochujung, Ebi Mayo and Kimchi Chahan which were all excellent. Lauryn was helpful in making the choice based on our tastes. Her service was top notch. Highly recommend this place while you are in Quebec.
We will be back. Very nice experience overall!
Sushi tacos were fantastic!
If you’re a sashimi lover, it’s honestly not worth the money , wouldn’t recommend this place. The only plus is that they serve real wasabi. But for other Japanese dishes, the food is actually pretty good.
Super
