service was great and decent. ill say that we ordered the discovery menu and you should be open minded with what you're getting. we got some beef skewers and they were well done. Probably something i wouldnt recommend getting. Their sashimi looks better so i would say thats probably the better go to if you were to choose.

We came to celebrate and Simon really made us feel that we were in the right place. He recommends us the Sake bombs and we have a blast! For sure we are coming back for more and food is really really good! Bonus point, my son love the deco!

Loved this place. The cocktail was great. The mabodofu yummy, with mushrooms. The trio sushi is so fresh. The cheesecake beautiful presentation and light. Great service 😀

It was my second visit to this establishment, and I usually enjoy sitting at the bar.However, this time the service was disappointing. While my drink was well prepared, it did took a long time to arrive.During the wait, we observed the bartender allowing two other customers at the bar to taste the drink ( that my friend order ) using a straw, and he initially intended to serve that same drink to him. I worked as a bartender for many years and was genuinely surprised by what I witnessed, as this is not acceptable practice.He did offer to change the drink after.

We visited Iru Izakaya on Sunday for a family dinner and opted for the tasting menu along with several of their specialty cocktails. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience with a lot of strengths. The tasting menu offered a wide variety of dishes, beautifully presented and packed with flavour. Many of the plates leaned toward fried preparations — everything was absolutely delicious on the palate, though a few courses did leave my stomach feeling a little heavy by the end of the evening. That said, the creativity and boldness of flavours were undeniable. The cocktails were exceptional — easily one of the highlights of the night. Thoughtfully crafted, balanced, and memorable. One detail I truly appreciated was the bilingual service. Our server seamlessly switched between English and French depending on who they were speaking to. As someone who is English-only dining with family members who are exclusively French (including our older mother), that level of attentiveness and inclusion meant a lot. The only drawback was timing toward the end of the evening. The staff appeared quite busy, and although we would have happily ordered another round of drinks, we ultimately left earlier than planned. That said, this place absolutely has the makings of a great establishment. With its vibrant atmosphere, strong cocktail program, and inclusive service, we would certainly consider returning.

We celebrated a friend's birthday recently here, as it was one of their top places to visit, and the experience was exceptional! Our server Shaun was super helpful with ordering, and was overall pleasant and sweet. The complimentary beverage for me and my friend's dessert after a small ordering hiccup was really thoughtful. Definitely a spot to visit again! The takoyaki and grilled shrimps were top-tier.
