The only thing that will affect a future return to the place is the parking. There is no parking and when you find one it's at the other end of Solar. Parking is an issue. There are so many other options at 10/30 where parking is easy and convenient.

Excellent food and a nice casual-chic ambiance, our evening at Iru was very enjoyable, for it was my 3rd time dining here. The choice of cocktails is original, and the plates to share are very good! You do need to think of Iru as a Japanese “pub” because the food is not traditional Asian but rather a North American twist on the typical Asian flavours. It IS very good nonetheless. The service was nice and friendly, albeit we had to chase our host a little bit, which is not a big problem but something I prefer to avoid on a Monday night. The staff was however very attentive in the fact that I had mentioned in my reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and a special desert was served without us asking for it. It was a very nice touch! Definitely will continue coming to Iru.

Was good food and staff were friendly. Cheesecake was amazing. It was maybe the slowest meal ever though 100 minutes and it wasn't that busy and I sat at the bar. 25 min to order, then to pay was at least another 15 minutes.

Really really good food, yummy! Try the pork belly skewers, it’s melting. Everything was sooo good, the beaf on hot plate, gyozas, gai-lan, salmon maki. Worth every penny!

Great food and amazing customer service. There are a few great vegetarian options though there’s no ramen option for vegetarians. Also, they have some amazing cocktail selection. Lastly, the validate parking so make you bring your parking receipt.

Great Izakaya. The service is wonderful and the food is delicious but pricy. The only real complaint is the weird SAKE yell at other people's table. It truly ruins your romantic experience.

Sake bombs are iconic shots found in Izakayas (japanese brewery). It's common to hear these shouts throughout the evening, as an Izakaya is a Festive place. Loved our experience and food ! We will most certainly be going back. Delicious appetizers chicken karaage, Foie gras dumplings and shrimp mayo...oh so delicious. Our mains were just as good. Service was spot on and done with smiles
