Had an amazing brunch/lunch experience at India Rosa on Mont-Royal in Montreal! The atmosphere was stylish, vibrant, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We ordered a mix of brunch dishes, mains, cocktails, and coffee — everything was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The Butter Chicken Benny was absolutely delicious, rich and comforting with a creative twist. The Grilled Paneer dish was perfectly seasoned, and the Lamb Curry Benny was outstanding — tender, flavorful, and unique. The Omelette du Rosa was fresh and satisfying, while the cocktails (Gecko Mule & Tiki Namaste) were refreshing and expertly crafted. Even the macchiato was excellent to finish the meal. Service was attentive and friendly, and the overall dining experience felt upscale yet relaxed. Perfect spot for brunch, cocktails, or a fun meal with friends in the Plateau area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for modern Indian fusion cuisine in Montreal! Will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Always delicious and our must do spot when we visit Montreal. Lovely service, too.
I love your butter chicken! It’s just so delicious
Beautiful restaurant with even better food. And impressive fusion between north American breakfast food and Indian food. Great spot to grab brunch with some friends, share food and sip on some mimosas.
Lovely place, drinks are awesome ! Service is top! The food was incredible I recommend the 75$ menu for 2! With cheese Nan!
Very good food and very good service!
we order malai kofta but it had more taste of cardamom and butter chicken was not spicy it had a sweet taste. tables are so small to put everything on them
Very tasty food with lots of options. Will have to go back to try out more dishes. The garlic naan was heavenly! Great service on a busy evening.
I got ill 6+ hours after, but not conclusive etc.
So I’ve gotten many recommendations about this place. But i went with a couple friends and we sat outside on the patio, and we genuinely didn’t make it past the drink. We had to leave. The patio was so cramped that me and the stranger behind me were bumping heads as we each sat at our respective tables. Like we got the drinks, and it got so claustrophobic we had to leave. We tried to move our table a little farther but the tables were bolted to the ground! The staff were very nice, although they seemed a tad overwhelmed, and understaffed. Like we were trying to leave for quiet a while and they just had so many tables to serve it took a bit of time. We didnt get to the food but the prosecco was good. The inside seemed fairly better. Maybe just don’t sit on the patio.
Loved the food, amazing service and great atmosphere, one of the best restaurants for Indian food in the city
The food was overpriced and I was disappointed it didn't even include rice. We got the butter chicken and cod, the dishes were ok, but didn't feel elevated or elaborate for what you'd expect for the price, ambience, and a special occasion. The taste was very ordinary, like what I'd order in any food delivery app. The server forgot about us, my drink was late and when it arrived it was watery and tasteless with hardly any alcohol.
Same quality as the other branches, just cozier. Definitely reserve, since it is a very popular spot.
I truly admire this style of culinary art—a beautiful fusion of French techniques with the rich, bold flavors of Indian cuisine. It’s a stunning expression of both artistry and taste, bringing together elegance and depth in every bite.
The food was delicious as always. The young man who is in charge of the brunch service is always cheerful, welcoming and provides excellent service.
A fair interpretation of Indian food. Easy for the newbies. Very good waitstaff, listened to our requests and delivered.
The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere, perfect for a date or a nice dinner out. The service was excellent, and the cocktails were good. However, we found the food a bit underwhelming. The dishes were quite basic, and the lamb biryani in particular was disappointing; the lamb wasn’t tender as expected.
Back for round two and once again, everything was perfect! The dishes are consistently tasty, and the team is always welcoming. Can’t wait for visit number three!
Possibly the best chicken and waffles I’ve had in my life
It would be a 5 stars, but I don’t appreciate when I pay and all the tipping options are above 15%. Let me choose please.
The food was absolutely incredible!! The staff was so friendly and I loved the recommendations they gave. The restaurant has a lovely vibe and it is affordable! The butter chicken and the paneer butter masala were phenomenal! Highly recommend!
I often order takeout and swear it’s the est vindaloo ever. Yesterday was my first dine in experience and it was perfect. Service was incredible! All four ppl (waiter, hostess, a server that delivered our app, and the one who filled our water … 10/10) Merci. And I came home and made the Bahi puri (sorta). Perfection
I went for the brunch and had a great time. The place is nice, the waiters are excellent and the food tastes great. Thanks a lot to the staff and the cooks !
Food was well made but under seasoned. Service was fine, not bad but no one seemed enthusiastic to be there. Just a little “too cool” for what an upscale casual lunch/dinner spot should be. I had higher expectations and my friends did enjoy it, just know it’s not for even a somewhat desi palate.
One of my favourite places for brunch. I return to it again and again, and have never been disappointed.
