Was given a gift card 1 year and 5 months ago for Christmas. Did not have time to go try the restaurant but finally decided to make reservations and give it a try. Consumer beware: They only honour gift cards for 1 year. This is illegal in Quebec and asked to speak to manager. He laughed at us when we said that it was illegal to expire gift cards and all he could say was “that was their system”. Did not even try to help us.
Reviews / Ratings for India Rosa DIX30
Excellent
Beautiful decor and location. Great atmosphere, lighting and service. The Aloo Tiki is absolutely fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised. The saag paneer was underwhelming, I've had much better at other local restaurants. The paneer was very dry and had a similar texture to tofu. I also feel like the "in sauce" items should have the side included. $5 for a small portion of rice is a bit much especially considering it a main course that's always eaten with either rice or naan.
Had to wait awhile for our table despite our reservation. Our party included elderly parents with nowhere to sit for them. Nothing was offered for this inconvenience.
Love the food. It was delicious and it was exactly what we were hoping for. But, the best part was the service. Estella went out of her way to make use feel welcomed and heard. She is a great waitress and added-value to the customer experience.
We loved our experience at India Rosa, The butter, chicken, biryani rice and the appetizers were fantastic, Excellent and attentive, friendly service. We will definitely be back
The food was amazing. Very tasty, very fresh, good portions. Prices were very reasonable compared to your average Indian restaurant. Drinks were very pricey though
Very well made and served Indian food.
After a longtime I have had Indian food which lacks soul.. Everything i ordered is some kinda creamy version of the dish… everything felt so heavy on stomach…..cocktail was average too, so much ice in cocktail, it looses the spirit of creativity.. Service was good..the only thing is liked paying for.. May be I’ll try again…like to give this place another chance.
i came for Mother’s Day brunch and had such an amazing experience thanks to Zineb! She served us like a true professional from beginning to end attentive friendly fast, and always making sure everything was perfect. Even with the restaurant being busy, she stayed calm and gave us top-tier service. She really made our celebration feel special. Definitely one of the best service experiences we’ve had is really better !!!!!

We really enjoyed our lunch here. A little pricey but everything was fantastic!
We went to Dix30. Service: it was slow but the girl filling the water (hostess) was fast. The waiter who served us was slow to take the table and then to take our order. He apologized but was slow even afterward. But then we had a different waitress near the end of our meal and she was great. Food: it was good. Flavours were nice. I had the chicken Punjabi and my partner, the Kerala seafood. We did 2 tapas (kale and onion bahji (its a fritter)) and Dahi Puri. The Dahi Puri was so refreshing. Highlight of the night. The seafood was nicely cooked. They had no regular coffee so we bought a cappuccino and an expresso. Nicely done but extra monry spent. Dessert was a creme bruler and a chai tiramisu. Both wete very lovely but extremely rich. Atmosphere: beautiful restaurant. It wants to be upper class fancy, and a fancy dinner party would look nice there, but you don't need to be dressed up. Music isn't too loud. You can talk comfortably. CHECK YOU TABLE LEGS when you sit down. The table we had was broken and it was hinted to us that many of the tables are like this. The hostess did try to shim the table leg but they eventually popped out. It was a bit distracting having to put my foot under the leg or be conscious of leaning on the table all the time. Price: very expensive. Was it worth it? I'd say not really. You can get the same flavors and meal for a lot less. For 2 tapas, 2 meals, 2 specialty coffees, 2 desserts, after taxes was close to 200$. After tip, it was over that. I have been to other Indian restaurants with as good or better food on Taschereau and in Longueuil and it didn't cost 2 people even 100$. Keep that in mind. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say, it was good food. We are trying new places and we tried this. Would we come back? Maybe but not likely.
Love the food and drinks. The Bryani rice with eggs and veggie brunch both yummy. Great service 😀
If the website says closing at 11, dont turn people around says the kitchen was closed since 7 30 pm. I have been here before and food is good.
Amazing place. Super nice. Excellent service. The manager is really soooo nice. Tkx a lot for our lovely service
Excellent!
Very beautiful atmosphere with more of a fine cuisine dining experience. Everything needs to be ordered separately ex Butter chicken priced at $27 comes as a main without any sides. Rice and nann is purchased separately. Beautifully presented dishes. Drinks are very pretty but also a little more pricey than average. Appetizers were shared among our group and they can add extras. They were delicious!
TLDR: Overall, portion sizes felt quite small for the price. The food didn’t quite live up to the upscale image and decor the restaurant presents. I was previously disappointed with brunch at the Griffintown location, but decided to give the Brossard location a try for dinner. The space itself is modern, clean, and visually appealing. The atmosphere is welcoming, but quite loud, which made conversation a bit difficult at times. For food: The shrimp biryani tasted a little off — possibly because we ordered it mild. The butter chicken (their signature) was average and comparable to what you’d find at more casual, lower-priced restaurants. The Goan cod was the highlight: flavorful sauce, well-cooked fish, delicate and easy to eat. The Kerala seafood dish was unfortunately the most expensive and the most disappointing — the sauce was watery and lacked flavor, and the seafood felt like a frozen mix (small mussels, shrimp, and calamari). Service was also on the slower side, and it was difficult to get a waiter’s attention. In the end, the experience felt a bit pretentious relative to what was delivered.
Every once in a while, you come across a restaurant that doesn’t just serve food, it delivers a complete, memorable experience. This is one of those places. I come from a strong cooking background and tend to be extremely particular when dining out, so when something impresses me, it truly stands out. This meal didn’t just meet expectations, it exceeded them across the board. We ordered the Basmati Rice, Garlic Naan, Lamb Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, and Calcutta Shrimp, and not a single dish missed. The Lamb Vindaloo was exceptional. Easily the best I’ve ever had. The heat was perfectly calibrated, present but refined, allowing the depth of flavor to shine through without overwhelming the palate. The lamb itself was unbelievably tender, cooked to perfection. The Butter Chicken was nothing short of remarkable. Rich, velvety, and deeply flavorful, with a texture that quite literally melts in your mouth. This is the kind of dish that sets a benchmark. The Calcutta Shrimp brought another dimension, bold, aromatic spices layered beautifully, with shrimp cooked flawlessly. Every bite was balanced and intentional. What really says everything, even after we were full, we couldn’t stop. We ended up adding more Butter Chicken to our leftovers and took the Malai Shrimp, recommended by our waitress, to go. That recommendation alone was spot on. Service was outstanding, attentive without being intrusive, prompt, and genuinely knowledgeable. It’s clear the staff understands the menu and takes pride in guiding the experience. The ambiance ties it all together, modern, stylish, and inviting. It creates the perfect setting for the kind of meal this is. The only minor note, and it’s truly minor, is that the lighting is quite dim in the evening, making the menu slightly difficult to read. A subtle adjustment like clip-on lighting would elevate the experience even further. This isn’t just a place I’d return to, it’s a place I’d go out of my way for. If you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine executed at a high level, this is it. I’ll be back, without hesitation.
Indie Rosa in Brossard is a remarkable discovery. It’s the first time I’ve found a restaurant that comes close to the refinement and finesse of the legendary Le Taj on Stanley Street in Montreal. This is truly fine Indian cuisine. Each dish is distinct, beautifully prepared, and served in generous portions. The presentation is elegant, the flavors are carefully balanced, and the overall quality is impressive. The restaurant itself is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. Service is impeccable — everyone is exceptionally polite, attentive, and welcoming. A special mention to Esther, who was very warm and attentive throughout the service, making the experience even more enjoyable. Another major highlight is the abundance of vegetarian options. There is a real sense of parity on the menu, with plenty of choices for vegetarians, which makes the experience feel inclusive and thoughtfully designed. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the atmosphere related to sound. The music feels too commercial and clashes with the exotic, refined dining experience. It is also quite loud and echoey, which makes the room feel noisy. That said, Indie Rosa stands out for the quality of its cuisine and is absolutely worth discovering. For me, it is the first restaurant in Brossard that truly evokes the fine Indian dining experience of Le Taj in Montreal.
Food was great but service was a bit sub par
Overall food was so delicious!
