Absolutely lovely meal at Il Fornetto! Pizza was excellent and my friends both had the linguini vongole (ask for the white wine sauce!) and both said it was excellent. Price was reasonable given the proximity to the water and lovely view from our table. The waiter was professional, funny and efficient. Nothing but smiles! Would definitely visit again.

We were a party of 3, we were seated quickly. Service was fast and pleasant. Food was quite good as usual. Looking forward to going back when the weather is nicer and we can sit outside on the terrace.

I went to Il Fornetto for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely and the staff are very attentive and friendly! The food was delicious and tasted amazing! We will definitely be coming back!

The pizza is good and the pasta as well. I liked the salmon fetuccine but the portions are a bit small. Definitely worth a visit to be near the canal sitting on the terrasse. The atmosphere is intimate but it can get very busy.

We drive from downtown to this typical Italian trattoria that has the best pizza in Montreal and with a chief who knows how to fry calamari the correct way.

My family has been going to Il Fornetto for years! We have celebrated many birthdays there. The food is very good. The restaurant is located by the water. Summer evenings are beautiful at this restaurant. The staff is lovely and always accommodating. I would recommend this restaurant.

Has been great for over 20 years and is still fantastic. I had my first diner there 2 owners ago ., food staff and prices are always great. Staff staff stafff is A1. They have a manager there since 30 years. He is simply the most hospitable person in any restaurant in montreal . The place is a must try Pizza pasta fish and veal. All excellent.

Wonderful restaurant. Delicious food. Yesterday was my birthday and we were the last to leave the restaurant. I was treated very well by the staff, who gave me a tiramisu to sing happy birthday. We will be back more often.

This place is just as I remember, a staple of the lachine water front restaurants great wood stove pizza accompanied by all the right flavor profiles. Very nice ambiance and service is on point. Couple of reason I don't give a 5 star rating, on the way to the washrooms we over heard some getting chewed out for some kind of error that was made, something else is the place has not changed in ages and lastly this place is exactly the same for as long as I could remember not yet to have had a menu that gets me excited to try something else.

We had dinner last night, Jan. 21st at Il Fornetto. We have been there many many times over the years and always had a fantastic meal. However, last night's dinner was horrible. The veal marsala was tasteless (like they had watered down the sauce and I had to put salt on my meal), the pizza was just OK and the spaghetti bolognese was watered down as well. We were very disappointed. We told the waitress of our disappointment, were not looking for a free meal or discount, but what surprised us the most is that the owner/manager (who was there) never came over to our table to discuss our comments and apologize for our discontent. Sadly, not sure if we will return.

I absolutely love this place—day or night. The service is consistently excellent, the atmosphere impeccable, and the food always satisfying. The waterfront terrace is simply stunning.
