The place is really nice inside, great terrace e overlooking lachine canal. We ordered 2 margaritas pizzas and a salad. The pizzas were good , the salad was basic. For 75$ and takeout it might not be for everyone but they do offer good food , staff is very good and the place is really nice. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful restaurant with great scenery from the second floor. Food was amazing! My wife and I shared the Caprese to start, which went wonderfully with the complementary bread. Then for our mains we split the Farfalle Al Salmone and the Linguine Ortobosco. Both dishes were delicious but the salmon farfalle was a 5 star meal I would highly recommend. The linguine was also very tasty, however it wasn’t as hot as I would’ve liked. If you enjoy Italian quinine I would highly recommended this restaurant. Our waiter was exceptional, unfortunately I don’t remember his name. When I go back I’ll edit this and add his name. He was fun and professional, great recommendations, attentive and thoughtful. 10/10

We've been coming here for 30 years and it has been consistently great. Everything on the menu is very good, and the pizza is excellent. Only negative…man is it noisy! Don’t expect to carry on a business or romantic conversation!

Absolutely lovely meal at Il Fornetto! Pizza was excellent and my friends both had the linguini vongole (ask for the white wine sauce!) and both said it was excellent. Price was reasonable given the proximity to the water and lovely view from our table. The waiter was professional, funny and efficient. Nothing but smiles! Would definitely visit again.

We were a party of 3, we were seated quickly. Service was fast and pleasant. Food was quite good as usual. Looking forward to going back when the weather is nicer and we can sit outside on the terrace.

I went to Il Fornetto for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely and the staff are very attentive and friendly! The food was delicious and tasted amazing! We will definitely be coming back!

The pizza is good and the pasta as well. I liked the salmon fetuccine but the portions are a bit small. Definitely worth a visit to be near the canal sitting on the terrasse. The atmosphere is intimate but it can get very busy.

We drive from downtown to this typical Italian trattoria that has the best pizza in Montreal and with a chief who knows how to fry calamari the correct way.

My family has been going to Il Fornetto for years! We have celebrated many birthdays there. The food is very good. The restaurant is located by the water. Summer evenings are beautiful at this restaurant. The staff is lovely and always accommodating. I would recommend this restaurant.
