Was craving sushi late at night, looked up different spots to order through uber but they all closed before I made my mind. This is an amazing spot for late night sushi, very good "average" sushi (might sound harsh but I'm very picky about my sushi), hit the spot and my craving, the shrimp nigiri was really good for some reason. Plus I asked if they could "diversify" the 20 pcs choice of chef and told them I prefer salmon and they listened, made my night. I'd order again when late at night for sure :) I've been let down a lot when it's 10pm and later by the options on Uber and since my usual spots are closed at that time but this is worth it and again, staff was really nice to accommodate my request when they didn't have to, I am happily eating my sushi at 1 am. Worth going to if it's your local store or ordering, made my evening!

I visited ICHI Shop at Around the Island and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The staff member who assisted me was extremely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The way I was treated felt disrespectful and inappropriate. Customer service should be respectful to everyone, regardless of who they are. I hope management takes this seriously and works on improving their staff’s professionalism and treatment of customers. I will not be returning.

I don't usually leave a review unless the food is really really good and they deserve it so much. Plus, I love supporting small, local, and family owned restaurant. Yen at the cashier and her dad the chef Tom were so nice. Restaurant with very good food and a quality customer service is beyond! 👌🏻 I came all the way from southshore and drove 40 mins just to get to this restaurant in mtl, I was really craving for sushi and ramen at 2 am. I ordered both and it was excellent, very comforting ramen I ever had, savory and very soothing soup perfect for late night cravings plus the meat, wow it was so soft and tasty, sushis were also very appetizing, freshly made given the time. I was so satisfied after and just the idea of they cater clients at this time alone since normally majority of the restaurants are already closed 👏🏻. Kudos to you guys Ichi shop & Ramen 🙇🏻🙌🏻 your service is very much appreciated. I definitely will come back and I 100% recommend them. Thank you so much Yen for being very friendly and outstanding service! Happy new year 🙂
