It could have been an off night, and I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but this was the worst meal I’ve had in a while. We were seated immediately, but it took about 20 minutes for our food or drink order to be taken. From there it got worse. It took an hour to get only 3 tapas plates to be served. By that point, we were no longer in the mood for more food. The croquettes and the scallops were mushy. To keep us happy they comped us a bunch of wine, but I left feeling rather ill. Too much alcohol and very little food. For the price, totally not worth it.

Server was not able to serve and take orders properly, missing dishes, kitchen was not good as well, order steak medium rare, got well done, side dishes never came to the table. Very Smokey from the charcoal grill fumes.
Very disappointing experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself looked nice, but unfortunately the service and overall experience completely ruined the evening. Our server was extremely rushed the entire time to the point that he barely even understood what we were saying. We constantly felt pressured while ordering and eating, and there was no sense of hospitality or professionalism at all. It was also very obvious that the table next to us, who spoke Spanish and were clearly more comfortable with the server, received completely different and much warmer service compared to us, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. What made the experience even worse was being asked to pay and leave despite having a reservation, simply because they needed the table. That completely defeats the purpose of reserving in advance. Dining out should feel relaxing and enjoyable, not stressful and rushed. Being busy is not an excuse for this kind of behavior. A professional restaurant should know how to handle busy nights while still maintaining proper service quality and treating customers with respect.
Absolutely unacceptable service. If there were an option to give zero stars, I would. The bathroom was disgusting, there was urine all over the floor, which was extremely unsanitary. The service was just as disappointing. Our server, a Spanish man with glasses, barely communicated with us. He did not properly explain the menu, interrupted us while we were trying to order, and seemed impatient throughout the entire experience. At one point, he spilled water on my shoes and instead of apologizing, he casually said, “It’s just water.” It was also very obvious that he was much more comfortable and attentive with the Spanish-speaking table next to us, while we were treated poorly. What shocked me most was that despite having a reservation, we were asked to pay and leave because they needed the table(after 2 hours). What is the point of making a reservation if you are going to rush customers out? I reserved specifically to have a table available and to enjoy the experience without being pressured. When we declined the bottle service, his attitude changed immediately, which made it feel like the quality of service depends entirely on how much money customers spend. I have dined at much busier and far more upscale restaurants, and I have never been asked to leave. This was deeply disappointing and completely unprofessional. I won't recommend this place to anyone!
Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. Ask for the Zesty Jeff at the bar (has to be from Jeff himself).
One of the best restaurants in town, I really love it. Super service and very delicious food made by one of the best Chef, thanks Chef for unique and amazing food.
Iberica Spanish restaurant in Montreal is a 5-star experience from entry to dessert. The decor, service, and ambiance are impeccable, Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience.
Excellent service and food and atmosphere i didn't pay for bill so I don't know price
Excellent decors, Excellent service and Excellent tapas (especially the croquettas). The black paella is amazing with pretty generous portion (albeit could use a bit more seafood). The ribeye steak is a bit underwhelming and small for the price.
Our server Gabriel was lovely. He gave wonderful food recommendations and was efficient and friendly.
Lovely place with great food!
One of my favourite restaurants!! I love this place! The food is amazing and the service is wonderful! The team is so nice and takes the time to advice you and go through the menu! My recommendation when going there: share tapas (calamari are amazing, tomato salad, charcuterie and patata bravas) then share a paella ( all of them are amazing, my number one is sea food paella!). It is perfect for a date night and for a group!
We had a brilliant time at Iberica yesterday; really enjoyed the atmosphere there, and the service was excellent too. My bf isn’t usually a big fan of seafood, but he absolutely loved the food there!
When we walked in the host was so nice. We said we were just going to order a drink and he smiled and gave us a menu "just in case." We sat at the bar and the bartender Alex was excellent, friendly, and professional. Our drinks were amazing. We of course ordered food too! We had calamari, crocqettas, and pan con tomato. We would have gone back the next night for paella but they were closed and unfortunately we had to go home. Everyone was welcoming and I would highly recommend. Contemporary, upscale, but warm and inviting.
Great value spot downtown with an elevated yet unpretentious atmosphere. Food and cocktails were fantastic with white glove service!
Lovely food, atmosphere and location.. but service ??.. horrid !!!. especially for and esablishment of this caliber and reputation; super cold reception.. no even a "hello".. my friend and I got seated.. I was made to feel like I was bothering the person that took my order.. no one came to refill our glasses.. no one came by the table to ask if we needed anything.. I had to stand up and go find the waiter across the restaurant on more than one occasion.. a real embarassment..
Took forever for the food to come, and it’s extremely salty and somehow overcooked
Iberica always exceeds my expectations, especially with their impeccable service. Thank you Alex and Leila!
We were waiting in a queue to get a table for two. We were the second party of two in the row. When we went back one hour after to ask what’s the situation, we were told we were the fourth party in the queue.
Gorgeous interior design, food was delicious. Service was a bit slow and we had to wave servers down to get utensils, but I think that was just because it was especially busy. Paella is not to miss!
Great service and ambiance. The food is outstanding. Enjoyed our time! Alex and Alexis great service.
Great and fresh food, excellent service and amazing atmosphere. Our waiter, Gabriel, was very professional and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Very disappointed by my last experience here. Their $50 jamon iberico is a scam as they blatantly serve serrano. Anyone who's been to Spain knows that. Food is generally bland and lacks the je-ne-sais-quoi that a place charging these prices should offer. Will not be returning here, there are much better places in this city.
The best Spanish food I had in Canada so far, service was awesome, Gabriel guided me and my wife through the options, great experience! My favorite restaurant from now on, only place I know I’m paying for what I’m getting, quality!!
The service was warm and welcoming from the moment we entered the restaurant which was really appreciated. We were forgotten a couple of times though which made it a bit less enjoyable. For example, the waitress said she would bring us the dessert menu but didn't come back for another 20 minutes and then the dessert took another 20 minutes as well. So even though the waitresses were quite friendly, we experienced a couple of unfortunate events. The food itself was tasty. I do find the rice a bit too salty but the overall flavours complemented each other very well which was quite amazing. The portion was just right for us as well! The food is priced at around 55$ for the paella which seems intimidating but the portion is enough for 2. The tables are pretty small so it does make you feel a bit out of space especially with the plates being so big.
