Good professional bartenders that know what they are doing. Great atmosphere with some Irish music. This is a real Irish pub and not a pretender. Did not try food so I don't know. Bathrooms are clean. It's a good stop. It does get crowded with college kids later on but they are fun.
Reviews / Ratings for Hurley's Irish Pub
Great atmosphere, very good food and beer, the waitress was not impressive, no water or check up at the table, and it was very quiet at lunch time on a Wednesday, so it was not that she was overly busy!
I went there twice before concerts, good spot for sure, but compared to the others bars and restaurants nearby, it's pricey for sure, when you pay over $60 for 2 beers and 2 appetizers.. I didn't experience the live music, this review is just about the pricing, everything else is great!
A tall blonde waitress/bartender at the bar tonight (Friday, April 24) had a very rude attitude from the beginning. She was pushing people just to get through. While people were dancing, she pushed two people at the same time, and it was so hard that one of them fell into me. I also fell to the ground and hit my head badly against a chair. She didn’t even come to apologize or check if I was okay. Her behavior was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I’ve been to this place a few times before and I always found the atmosphere and staff polite and professional, but this employee is absolutely not suitable for working in such a small and crowded place. I strongly recommend that if you see her, do not take service from her.
Great musicians!
Went for a few drinks , live 2 man band was awesome . Friendly staff, our server Trinity was great . Cozy feel and a lot of hidden spots inside
Not a place that you want to go especially after Pandemic. Cresent street becoming unsafe environment. Beware of the neibourhood.
Very nice evening at the CHOM 97.7 rock trivia night. Good food and drinks and a fun ambiance. Nice clean washrooms too.
Such a cozy atmosphere to enjoy a beer and some delicious fries. They have darts as well!
Good atmosphere, cool that they had a free comedy show. The fries were overcooked and my water was never refilled once even after the ice was eaten lol
Such friendly people and good beer! Tuesday nights there’s an Irish trad session on the top floor, wonderful musicians. Really good fries also 👌
Amazing historical bar/restaurant. You must go at least once
Great pub atmosphere and beer on tap selection. Fish and chips, beef stew, and beef dip were great.
This was an amazing authentic Irish pub we visited a couple times while on our trip to Montreal. Great pub food great drinks and an amazing Irish band that pled both nights we were there. Will definitely be going back here again when I return to montreal again!!
The coziest, friendliest pub! The vibe was chill, staff friendly, and it’s got such a rustic, cozy vibe. We loved it so much we went back the next day!
Fine Irish eateries and drinkerie. Doug (one of a few downtown class bartenders) makes newcomers feel as special as the regulars,of which there are quite a few. Actually for a bar that boasts a stable of regulars it is by no means clique ish. Highly recommended before/after Hab nights.
even if i wet to sit in front of a server , i’ve been sitting infront of the bar for 20 mins, the only person of colour, no one has asked me what id like to drink even while calling them out. Service is only for the french at this location. thank you for showing me the respect of montreal
I had a bad experience here with an extremely rude server lady. You could tell that she treated other customers nice, but when it came to my family (we're Filipino), she was blatantly racist. She was absolutely disrespectful and often rolled her eyes when we were trying to be friendly. Barely came to our table too, we had to keep trying to reach out to her. By the time the bill came, my mother pressed the wrong button on the debit machine by accident as the price needed to be set up again. This lady said "want me to teach you how to use a debit machine?" in such a condescending tone. Don't know about you, but a server like that deserves no tip. I normally treat service workers with utmost respect too. She hilariously got confrontational when we didn't tip her and said we were legally obligated lmao. Next time treat your customers with minimal decency and you're guaranteed a tip lady, it's a no brainer. Food was okay nonetheless.
My favorite place!
Best Irish pub in Montreal
Very busy place, should keep serving drinks in Glass cups even on busy days. All in all a good place to meet friends.
We had a wonderful evening with my team.
Excellent
Our blonde server Bennet was a delight to have. She was attentive despite's being Islanders fans and her wearing a Canadians jersey. Excellent service. Definitely recommend, will be back.
Great place to get together and grab some drinks and food.
