One of mine and my wife's favourite date night spots. Don't make reservations. Show up. Put your name down and then go to the arcade next door until your table is ready! One of the best Korean BBQ experiences in all of Montreal.

The food was delicious! I loved the variety of sushi options, all the different types of meat to cook, and all the different tempura options. Would highly recommend and definitely going to be back!

The beef and fish were marinated too salty, so I had to drink a lot of water. Also, the beef was too tough to chew.

I don't get why the reviews are so great. The kbbq is average and the sushi are average. I would prefer that they specialized in 1 of the 2 types of cuisine and made it well. If you have ever been to a real kbbq (in Montreal or even South Korea), you won't like it here. The menu doesn't have pork belly (samgyeopsal), japchae, sesame oil with salt, pickled onions, corn cheese, kimchi jigae, etc. It's not even close to a real kbbq experience. You should go to Mon Ami kbbq on St-Jean! For the sushi part, it's fine but mot great. Plus they don't have sashimis on the menu which was, to us, very disappointing for an all-you-can-eat sushi. Matsuno on St-Jean is so so much better! Also, the kitchen closed at 21h30 on a Saturday night... that's too early. I hope they can improve eventually! 🙏

Hello, thank you for your feedback. I would to specify we do have in the menu pork belly and kimchi and also for appetizers marinated daikon and seaweed salad. We are considering to add the corn cheese in the menu too. The restaurant on a Saturday night, we closed at 22:00 and the kitchen close at 21:45, but we do advise the customers 21:30 to give them a 15 minutes to make a last order. As for the sashimi on the menu, it’s all about pricing. We do know some all you can eat Korean bbq restaurant do offer sashimi on the weekend evening menu, but not at 44.99, in the south shore, the pricing including sashimi are 52.99$ to 59.99$. Hope you understand. Thank you

Went here for the all-you-can-eat with a group of 4 adults. The food was okay, nothing special, but the service completely ruined the experience. We were rushed the entire time. About 1 hour in, staff were already asking if we wanted to order more and pushing us along, even though the dining time is supposed to be around 2 hours. It didn’t feel like we were being given a normal, relaxed dining experience. What made it worse was the overall vibe. We were the only brown (South Asian) group in the restaurant. Throughout the meal, I felt like the staff were constantly watching us and treating us differently. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. For context, we ordered normally—nothing excessive—and we didn’t waste any food. We even asked for the bill at around the 1 hour 40 minute mark, so it’s not like we were overstaying. If the issue was just timing or table turnover, that’s one thing—but the way it was handled, combined with how we were made to feel, left a really bad impression. If they only care to cater to a certain type of crowd, maybe they should move their restaurant somewhere in Ohio or Mississippi where they will find their desired crowd and don’t have to deal with diversity, because this was not it. Still left a 20% tip btw maybe you can use it for behavioural short courses for your staff. Would not go back.

Hello, We are very sorry about the negative impression you had. We would like to confirm we welcome all nationalities customers and we are a group formed of different nationalities at work. We don’t know when were you at our restaurant, but we do serve a lot of South Asia customers and they are very welcome. By the way, we have many good loyal south asian customers. As for asking if you still need to order, the waiter do not necessarily aware of exactly how long have you been eating, it’s more considering when they are no more food on the table for a certain time and providing service. When customers are done eating, we need to clean the table for the customers to order dessert. Hopefully it does clarify more the situation. Thank you and have a nice day.

me and my friends went here to get dinner around 6 on sunday and there was 6 of us. the food took a while to come out, some food that we didn’t order came to our table, the servers looked like they didn’t wanna serve us at all. when it came to paying we all paid by couple so 3 bills in total and the guy checking us out ( maybe the manger) didn’t let us put our own tip but he picked his own tip which i found is a bit weird since most places let you select your own tipping… our bill went from $105 to $127 for 2 people.. it’s not bad but it’s just that he selected his own tip which is absurd…

Everything was nice. Atmosphere was calming and welcoming and the food was delicious. My only complaint was one of the older workers there who seemed to add tipping in the final bill without notifying us. We were three different parties there, so three different bills. Two-Two and Three. It seemed gor one of the bills he added more or less 20$ while the others payed 15$ extra. I feel as tho tipping shouldn't be in the final bill, and be based on the experience we had. Especially since then also got upset when we asked him about it.

Hello, Base on your review, if the situation did really happened, it is not acceptable in our restaurant policy. We will definitely investigate on the situation and clarify if it’s not a misunderstanding. Can you please provide us more details on when did it happened? Ideally, please contact us and ask to speak to the manager. We want to clarify the situation . Thank you

Went to this Korean restaurant yesterday, food was good but the service was so bad. I understand that you only have 2 hours to stay to dine in but it is disrespectful when people are still eating and food and plates are being removed.

This place is okay. The workers are sweet funny and honest. If you dont have a reservation you are left waiting for quite a while. There is no where to wait or to sit except outside. Thank god they call you to come back in once a table is ready. The food was okay. They have lots of sushi options which i like but we came for the barbecue and theres not many meat options. A downside for me was the grill, it was not hot at all our meats took a while to cook and the marinade was nothing to rave about. Our orders came out quite fast but quite funnily too. On the app it said 3-4 pcs so we ordered one each and we ended up getting one piece each item we ordered which was strange the dishes came out as if they were half eaten by another table. Also for a grill the ventilation was really horrible. I felt like i was getting full just from inhaling all the smoke in there.

Pros: A) Korean, Japanese and Chinese style cuisine which is nice. B) The manager and servers were attentive and well trained. C) The food was alright and okay Sushi’s were good and so were the meats. Cons: A) The Bathrooms need better attention and renovations. B) The front area needs a better attention as well. C) They have WiFi and it’s locked so if you need to order. If you need to order via WiFi How? D) You only use your phone to order other places have iPads and touchscreens or paper menu etc. E) The lighting and ventilation can be better as well from my perspective. Conclusion: Been here 3x and I am just not a fan of this style of concept. It used to be an improvement 2-3 years ago now It changed and now I am indifferent on this establishment. God Bless! Thanks be to God! Christus 🥇. Ave Christus Rex 👑 Jeremiah 29:11 ✝️

Good atmosphere, very polite crew. The menu's quiet nice. The only thing that is not enjoyable is that most of what they've served is too salty. Anything else is good !

First time eating here and will be the last time. Jan 28th we were greeted by the rudest hostess. She just handed us the ipad to put in our order without any explanation. It being our first time there, we were a bit confused about how to proceed exactly. We tried asking her for help but she didn’t seem to understand very much so we asked if she speaks French. She rolled her eyes and rudely said no but you speak English. She is definitely not the type of employee any restaurant should have to greet clients. Luckily then our server was someone else who was more courteous. Then the food… nothing great there. Firstly, the plates are the size of appetizer plates. Secondly they have no forks. I understand it’s a concept but they should accommodate clients who are not accustomed to chop sticks. We are in Canada!! The quantities are ridiculously small so constant ordering is necessary and you can easily be there for 3 hours. For example, If you order onion to cook with your meat they literally bring 1 onion ring on a huge plate. You order ice-cream they bring you a ball made with a melon baller!!! It’s absolutely ridiculous! I understand they don’t want to waste food but why not tell clients what to expect with the quantity instead of wasting time. Already that it ends up being a long meal. In addition , the grill is too hot and you can feel the extreme heat from your seat, and the smell that we had in our clothing after being there was absolutely disgusting. The worst meal and service I have had in a long time.

Good evening, We are sorry for the greeting you had at our restaurant. A coaching will be done to the hostess. As for the food portion, the size and quantity depend on your order. When placing orders, there are explanations of the quantity per order. Since we are an all you can eat restaurant, every portion is made small for customer to try more items , but you have the choice to increase the portion on your order. As an example, if you want more onions , you could increase the portion to 2, 3 or even 10 times. It’s really at the freedom of the customer to customize the portion. Hopefully it makes you understand a bit more the concept of all you can eat. Thank you
