Went to Hakkaki Grill on Saint Laurent and I actually loved it. Food was amazing, like you can tell they put real care into each dish. The corn soup was unreal. Everything tasted different in a good way, not just the same flavor everywhere. Place is clean, staff are nice, and the lighting is perfect, bright but still cozy. They hadn’t labeled everything yet, but honestly didn’t matter. Every single item hit. Would go back for sure.

Not worth the trip. The restaurant leans heavily on being halal but doesn't have much else going for it. Asian, Indian or maybe... Burgers? They need to focus on one cuisine and perfect it. The food was greasy, the kitchen smoke smell kept drifting into the dining room, and a dried ice gimmick ended up exploding across the table. Chairs were uncomfortable for a sit-down meal. Also worth knowing: a 15% gratuity is automatically added for groups of 6+, disclosed only via a wall. Overall, feels like a place coasting on a niche rather than delivering a real dining experience

I love this place — it’s cozy and very clean. I went for the iftar buffet, and yesterday was my second visit i ordered ala carte and really enjoy their food, especially the Mongolian beef and chili chicken.
