⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 – Delicious Haitian Food & Great Opening Special! 🇭🇹 I recently discovered GriotMax, a newly opened Haitian restaurant in my neighborhood, and decided to give it a try! They're currently offering a grand-opening promotion of 2 complete meals for only $23.99, which is a great deal! It's a limited-time offer, although no end date has been announced. The food was served piping hot, freshly prepared, and full of flavor! I especially enjoyed the well-seasoned meat, rice, pikliz (Haitian pickled vegetables), and dipping sauce. Everything tasted delicious! My only disappointment was the fried plantain. Each meal came with just one piece, whereas other Haitian restaurants I've visited typically serve two or three. Unfortunately, the plantain was also quite bland and lacked flavor. A more generous portion and better seasoning would definitely improve the meal. Parking can also be challenging. There's no dedicated parking lot, so you'll need to find street parking and carefully check the parking signs and restrictions. Overall, a satisfying experience with generous portions of rice and meat, fresh food, and a fantastic introductory price. Despite the minor drawbacks, it's a promising new addition to the neighborhood! ⭐ 4/5 – Worth trying, especially while the opening promotion lasts!

Ordered griot on Uber Eats . It was by far the worse experience I’ve ever had coming from an Haitian restaurant. Macaroni salad was sour. Riz collé tasted like burnt rice from the day before . Pikliz was not spicy and had big chunks of red onions in it . Small portion . Griot was okay but they mostly only gave fat so there wasn’t much to eat . I’ve also noticed that I’m not the only only one mentioning the same issue as well .

I happened to be in the Beaubien area and found this restaurant. The owner (who is also the chef) is such a nice, welcoming guy! I ordered the chicken rice—as you can see in the picture, It actually came with two pieces of delicious chicken that smelled so incredibly good, I couldn’t wait to take the photo before eating one! The rice tastes great. To use my child’s exact words, the food is **"flavorful!"** I really like the potatos. For $20.50, you get a good amount of food. I will absolutely be back to dine in and try more of the menu next time!

You can’t beat the price !! The rice was one of the most flavorful Haitian rices I’ve had (except the gramma of my friend haha but you can’t beat homemade), the portions are appropriate for the price and the girl at the cash (probably the owner?) was the sweetest, will definitely spread the word around because this place deserves to be more popular

For me, this is the first time I discover a very delicious Haitian restaurant in Rosemont. I truly recommend Griot Max to discover HAITI so I can say it’s like I am in MONTREAL but I am eating and HAITI great food. Congrats to the manager..
