My husband and I enjoyed a great meal here and recommend this restaurant. It is steps away from the main attractions in Quebec city. The service and customer attention was great. We wanted to eat Portuguese food and it was delicious! Very reasonably priced for the amount of food.
What guests say about Grillades Pico Loco - Rôtisserie Portugaise
The reviews are mostly positive, and several customers highlight tasty food, generous portions, and good value for money. The service is often described as warm and attentive, with a family-friendly atmosphere that is appreciated. However, a few people mention long waits and an uneven experience, especially if you're looking for very authentic Portuguese cuisine.

Good ambiance and very friendly staff. The food was worth the wait. At least they have wifi to help you find something to do will l while waiting for the food. It was perfectly grilled. Meat was well done but soft and not burnt. Wonderful flavors. Highly recommended except if you are in a hurry.
We had an excellent experience dining at Grillades Pico Loco - Rôtisserie Portuguese in Quebec City, a restaurant specializing in traditional Portuguese cuisine and fire-grilled meats. We ordered the Grilled Discovery Platter (a selection of grilled meats: homemade sausage, picanha, chicken and pork chop, served with two side dishes of our choice), perfect for two people. The food tasted delicious and the table-side flambé service by Stojan was amazing (using fire for dramatic effect and flavour enhancement)! The meats were smoky charred and savoury with a deep umami flavour. They were generous with the portions and the meal was so appetizing. Delicious food, amazing 10/10 service and nice ambiance made it a memorable experience for us!
Great place to eat. Stopped by here to eat with a family. Stojan was a great host. Chicken for the kids was fabulous. Well prepared a d super tasty. I encourage getting the dinner plate for 2. Great variety of meat. Steak. Well done. Home made sausages 👏. Will definitely return next time in Quebec City. Also very reasonably priced.
Casual, laid-back atmosphere. While the service was a bit slow, it was understandable as there was only one waiter for the entire place when we visited. Despite that, the flavor was amazing. I absolutely loved the polenta, and the chicken was delicious. I would definitely recommend.
Came in with 5 takeout orders, truly wanting Portuguese food and culture. The music was Spanish/Cuban, and the food was not even close to real Portuguese. They may pass as a Latin resto, but no way near Portuguese! After asking to play some Fado music, the manager made a statement that “I’m trying to pain the customers” Being a Portuguese restaurant, I believe they need to respect their own culture, and protect their brand with positive connotations.
