It's with real sadness that I'm writing this review. My friends and I are regulars here. We love the concept, and this is the only place we go for our smoothies and sandwiches. But lately, the consistency just isn't there. Depending on the day, the same order tastes different and is served differently. Today we ordered through Uber: the toast had about half the tuna it usually does, and the smoothie arrived half empty and tasted nothing like the one we had in person two days earlier, a smoothie we order several times a week. Since we were starving and hadn't received what we paid for, we went back in person to reorder. It was served differently again, had to be remade, and still wasn't right. We asked for double matcha and couldn't taste it at all. It honestly felt like it was being made by eye rather than following a set recipe. This isn't new. With the matcha lemonade this summer, some staff nailed it and others served what tasted like a diluted version. We let it go because the place had just opened, but it keeps happening. When you pay for a product, you should know what to expect. It's frustrating to make the trip, look forward to something, and not get it. I truly hope the team gets proper training on the recipes, because the concept is great. Right now, though, we're honestly unsure whether we'll keep coming back.
