I discovered Gourmet Sauvage online while looking for Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers, and I am so glad I did. I ordered a few items to sample, and although I have not tried everything yet, we did dive into the Box of Nordic Chocolates, Collabo Lecavalier Petrone, and wow! • Every year I buy the popular chocolates of the season. They are usually beautiful, locally made, and well crafted, but while they are always good, they are rarely memorable. I am also not the biggest chocolate lover, so I tend to be hard to impress. These were a completely different story. • First of all, the presentation is stunning. Thoughtful, personal, and high end. Opening the box felt like opening a jewelry case. Each chocolate looked like a tiny piece of art. Then I read the descriptions and flavor combinations, which were far more creative than what I am used to. • We only needed a few bites of each to be convinced. These are hands down the best chocolates I have ever had. The flavors are bold yet balanced, surprising without being gimmicky, and clearly the result of serious craftsmanship and creativity. You can feel the care in the local sourcing, sustainability, and the desire to do something truly different. • Now I understand why they sell out so quickly. Absolutely worth the price. An exciting and elevated gift idea, and perfect for the holidays. I will definitely be ordering again and continuing to explore their products.
