What guests say about Gio's Saint-Sauveur
A recent, spacious Italian restaurant with service often described as warm, impeccable, and very good. Many customers like the atmosphere, the upstairs view, and certain dishes such as the lasagna, mussels, cannelloni, and tartare, but others find the food inconsistent or too ordinary, especially the pasta and some pizzas. The place can also be noisy, and a few reviews mention order issues, cleanliness concerns, or a lack of warmth in the new atmosphere.

We had an excellent dinner last night. The food and the service were excellent. The decor in the restaurant is lovely, staff were great, it was really noisy.
Very Disapointed i orderes a entree de calamari and pizza the calamari was very small for the price and not crispy at all the pizza was cold and not much taste
We took ourselves to the new Gio’s in St Sauveur. It was a lovely night out. The new building is great. I’m not a big fan of TV’s in restaurants, especially one that’s supposed to offer a culinary experience. It kills the ambience for me. But hey, that’s totally personal, obviously. Our multiple servers were lovely and welcoming. The food was relatively quick considering how busy it was. I took the pizza Frutti du Mare. It tasted wonderful… but I was surprised how small it was. It looked about an 8 inch pizza (for $30!?) But it was fully loaded and the taste did not disappoint. I loved the old Gio’s too but I do think they have evolved beautifully into the new vibe with this building. I would definitely recommend!! And book a table. It’s busy!
I went with my toddler, waitress gave me a hard time, indirectly asked me to sit down when my toddler wanted to Move around. Then they didn’t let me hang out by the bar, because they don’t allow children at the bar. I’ve been to numerous bars and restaurants and haven’t had the problem about the bar. Food isn’t great. Place is missing coziness. I won’t come back, Saint Sau is much better.
Didn't get my order right. So everyone finished my the time mine. It was loud and noisy.
I had the special at luch today; penne Gio's and pizza mafioso. This dish was the definition of "soul food." The sauce—a rich, velvety Rosa—struck the ideal balance between the bright acidity of the tomatoes and the indulgence of heavy cream. The penne was cooked perfectly al dente.catching just enough sauce in every tube. It was savory. Atmosphere & Service Beyond the food, the vibe is what sets this place apart: Thank you
