Sat at the bar, amazing bartender was great conversation and gave tips about exploring the city. Ate focaccia, burratta, and Gino's lasagna. We were loving every bite.

This cozy place has a limited menu, but oh the lasagna! The vegetarian version is spectacular, and just the right portion size. The salad is delicious – more than the sum of its parts – and big enough to share among 2-3 people. Tiramisu, you say? Perfection in a bowl. Oh yes, and the cocktails and service are lovely, too. No attitude, just genuinely helpful and friendly.

What could be wrong about a restaurant that specializes in Negroni and lasagna? Loved the drink options (I had a boulvardier) and adored the vegan lasagna!

Refreshingly simple, good. What's not to like about Negronis and Lasagna! Both very very good! Wine list is a bit limited, love the space, server/bartender good.

Absolutely phenomenal experience here for a large birthday group. The food is thoughtfully prepared and every flavour is intentional. The ambience is warm and welcoming, and the staff was attentive, kind, and personable. This restaurant shows professionalism and class in everything they do and I could not possibly recommend it more. Undoubtedly one of my best dining experiences.

Really wanted to love this spot (good vibe!), but my lasagna had very burnt and chewy edges, and the salad had so little dressing… super dry. The part that bugged me the most were the glasses the drinks were served in weren’t clean (lipstick stains).

This is clearly my new highlight of the year, it's such a fabulous discovery. Gino's Negroni & Lasagna is definitely getting in my top italian spots in Montreal. I AM OBSEEEESSSED! Everything that we ordered was worth their own happy food dance! The italian flavors made me dream. Everything is homemade and very fresh. I can eat their homemade focaccia for daaayyyys! It was as fluffly as the perfect pillow. The appetizers were really opening my appetite, i wanted more. Then we got to the famous lasagna. Woooowww! I tasted all the layers in my bite. The pasta was fresh and soft (also freshly made every day). It wasn't too heavy. And to end with a sparkle, we had the most amazing desserts. My fav is obviously the sweet and salty mousse 🤤😍. Even though, i love all of them! I gotta come back 👌 What we ordered : - Burrata (olive, avocado cream, cherry tomatoes, crostini) - Polpo Di Taormina (octopus, olives, orange, fennel, sun-dried tomatoes, raisins, pine nuts, pesto oil) - Lasagna Alla Norma (eggplants, house tomato sauce, basil, bechamel, ricotta salata, fior di latte) - Tiramisu - Mango Caramelo Mousse - Semifreddo (pistachio, white chocolate ganache, limoncello sauce, house orange biscuit crumble) Very miaaaammmmmmmmm 😍

If you like good real Italian food and coktails run away from this place, the concept looked nice and I loved the idea! But that’s pure industrially-prepared stuff. There is not even a kitchen, food is either in the fridge or already cooked, ready to be served. A guy behind the bar serves Negroni from barrel, lasagna have 8 layers of pasta (8!) no sauce left (god, a good lasagna is so juicy!). Super disappointed really, but it seems I am the only one, the place was full 🤨

Our lasagna is prepared in large trays precisely because of the volume we serve, and to ensure it is served efficiently while maintaining the quality and consistency of our signature dish. We understand that everyone has their own idea of what makes a perfect lasagna and we respect that your preference is for a juicier style, with less layers. The same goes for our Negroni. our Classic on tap is one of our best sellers. The mix is prepared right before service, allowing our team to efficiently serve a consistent and well-balanced cocktail. Extremely disappointing experience. We were a party of two and were simply turned away at the door and told the restaurant was “full” for the entire night because we did not have a reservation. The problem? There were at least 10 empty tables for two people clearly visible inside. We even checked the restaurant’s own website while standing there, and it was showing reservation availability for the time we were there. So why were we being told there was no availability? There was absolutely no explanation. Instead of trying to accommodate us or even properly explain the situation, we were essentially brushed off and told to “try going le Bar Darling, it a short walk from here.” That is an incredibly poor way to treat customers, especially when there were clearly empty tables and the restaurant’s own website indicated that reservations were available. The service was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. We came expecting to have a nice date night and instead were made to feel like an inconvenience. What makes it worse is that we have since heard that we were NOT the first people to experience this. If you don't have a reservation, apparently don't bother showing up, even when there are plenty of empty tables and the restaurant's own website says otherwise. Very poor customer service and a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place for a date night.

Gino's is awesome. The Burrata 10/10. Meat Lasagna 10/10. Pistachio ice cream 10/10. The staff were super chill 10/10. The water was a 10/10. The chair I sat in at the bar was a 10/10. My Uber driver was a 10/10. Take it from an Italian New Yorker.....it's a 10/10 baby!!!!

Loved everything about this place! The ambience was really nice, with a good amount of seating and a lovely patio as well. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious! We started with the potato chips and focaccia, which I highly recommend, the focaccia was so soft and fresh. For our mains, we tried Gino’s lasagna and the veggie lasagna, and both were unique and full of flavour. Everything we ordered was great! Definitely recommend checking this place out. I’ll absolutely be back, and I’d suggest making a reservation, especially if you’re planning to go during a busy time!

We ordered the lasagna and fried shrimp, and everything was so good! I really loved the taste, especially the lasagna. I’ve never had lasagna like this before. The service was great and everyone working there was so friendly.

Amazing (celiac-safe!) gluten free lasagna and tiramisu - do not skip the tiramisu, leave room for it, it's the best I've ever had! More custardy than other tiramisus. They also have a good selection of amari. This was one of our best meals in Montreal!

It is a nice place for a relaxed supper. The appetizers were very tasty and the portions were generous. The tiramisu was to die for. The only dish that wasn’t that good was surprisingly the lasagna. We ordered the vegetarian one with the eggplant and the lasagna was mushy (over cooked). I would go back … and try the one with the meat.. maybe the latter is more on demand and the lasagna will be al dente..
