Small underground restaurant on the cozier side for sure. Best Lebanese food I’ve had so far! Their dip sampler is a must order and chicken was juicy! Reservations are highly recommended.

food is delicious but that’s about it. service was terrible for me and my 3 friends, however other tables were promptly served and tended to. I’d never dine in again but I’ll consider take out
Great and tasty food, a bit expensive for a lebanese cuisine. But the staff was super friendly they even offered my friends small sips of Arak (out Lebanese alcohol) and did not charge us for it
Food was incredibly bland and tasteless. The dips lacked a garlicky and olive oil taste. The rice lacked any aroma. The chicken and koftan were both bland, dry, and nothing special.
The food was good, but the service was unacceptable. We had to ask for basic things like menus and even to place our order, and then waited over 25 minutes just to get the bill. The staff showed zero accountability and came across as entitled.
Came here on a recommendation and brought friends visiting Montreal for their first Lebanese food experience. The food was good, but the service was extremely disappointing. We weren’t given menus until we asked, had to prompt the server to take our order, and no one checked on us throughout the meal. We even had to go up and ask for the bill ourselves, while other tables were served promptly and attentively. It was hard not to notice the difference in treatment, as our experience felt noticeably worse than those around us. I spoke to a server after paying, but there was little accountability, and the situation was dismissed as the restaurant being “busy,” which didn’t reflect what we observed and how other guests were served. It seems to me that their service is a hit or miss from the reviews people have left. Their servers are entitled and obnoxious at times. I leave it to your discretion if you don’t mind eating somewhere where the food might be good but you have to compromise the service. However, to me, if I’m going out to eat somewhere I look at the experience as a whole not just the food. Overall, a disappointing and uncomfortable experience.
The food was amazing and the service was great. We were a big group and they recommend a shared menus, it was perfect
I liked everything about this place, especially the coziness and the warmth of the owners. The food also was delicious, not the best I have tried but among the top 10. The starters were really good!
Went last night with three friends and honestly… what a spot. Everything hit, the food was incredible, the wine selection was on point, and the whole vibe just worked. Huge shoutout to Youssef, our waiter, who made the night even better with top-tier service. Saying this as a Lebanese who’s VERY picky, this place is legit. A must-try. Prices are super reasonable for the quality, too. And whatever you do, save room for the knafeh… easily the highlight of the night !
It was my first time visiting this restaurant and my 1st true authentic Lebanese fare. I had arak (alcohol) tastes like black licorice, kebeh, fattouch salad, kebabs. So flavorful! The place is tiny, about 10 tables.
The food was absolutely amazing — everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The grilled chicken were juicy and well-seasoned, and the appetizers were just as impressive. The staff were really kind and attentive.
Went as a group of 4. Super cozy and the food was delicious. Grace was our waitress and was amazing and super accommodating. Highly recommend 👌
Small quaint place with Amazing food. The service is fast, and they are very attentive. Great experience.
Small and cosy restaurant, serving delicious libanese mezzes and skewers. Their moussaka is a must have ! Highly recommend
I’ve been in Montreal for five years and I can’t believe I only had dinner at Garage last night. The food was incredible. One thing I really value about this restaurant is its authenticity and how the food is simply well done — Lebanese food as it should be — not an overpriced, complicated “story” of a dish. Their kibbeh nayye was exactly how we’d eat it back home and it was amazing. The hummus, muhammara, cheese rolls, lahme sambusik, meat fatteh… wow. Great experience, great ambiance, and great service. Thanks, Garage!
The food is overpriced for the quantity, which is rare in Lebanese restaurants as they are usually very generous. I was there 8 min in advance for my reservation. When I came in the waiter said it wasn’t the time yet and made me wait in the hallway although it is a known fact that the table should be ready 10 minutes before the reservation time at least. When I asked for mint tea, they gave me 3 mint leaves in water. I am Lebanese and there are many other good Lebanese restaurants in Montreal with the same taste of food, better service and portions.
Absolutely outstanding experience at Garage Beirut! The food is truly authentic, rich in flavour & beautifully prepared, easily one of the best Lebanese meals I’ve had in Montreal. The hospitality was equally impressive. Alex & Yousaf his team provided exceptional customer service, making us feel genuinely welcomed & well taken care of. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Middle Eastern cuisine & a great dining experience in downtown Montreal.
Had been meaning to go here for years. It did not disappoint. Had the dip spread, kebabs and fattoush salad and a lemonade to drink. Everything was excellent, highly recommended!
I asked a Lebanese person to suggest a good resto and he said this one has authentic Lebanese food. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. You need a reservation. Access is easy from the orange or green line.
The food was amazing, only thing that its way expensive from other, and the dishes was not even full !! Like I had the shish tawok and the chicken was not even 100g for 25$ !! Same thing the meat whith hummus was not even 50g😅. It ended with me hungry with 100$ bill for 2 people.other ways still have a nice taste 👅
Absolutely incredible!! We had such a good meal, I’m still thinking about it. Great service, great selection! Can’t wait to go back. Tons of vegetarian options.
